    James! So this is what you were up to in central London few weeks ago! Wow. Never even heard of a Biro. Good car for busy central London. Although couple drawbacks, firstly you are right in middle of all the traffic air pollution, and secondly with the mad traffic it looks quite fragile in event of getting caught in a crash (like a motorbike). Love idea of taking out and charging batteries! 👍. Great video as always. - The PlugSeeker

    Sitting in Heathrow on my way back to Scotland from Amsterdam. Really loved these in Amsterdam and looking at one. Only thing putting me off is the small removable battery. They should make a larger removable one. Living in an apartment with basement parking I need to be able to remove to charge

    Omg james I’ve had a lot of electric scooters think about 8 to 10 electric ones & this little car reminds me of one of them as when I heard you guys in the little electric car I head the inner wheel motor & looks likes it just drives one rear wheel I am gonna guess and say about 4,000 wats motor ?? But also the dash is from the e-max scooter aswell was a great little scooter had a boost button press once it lasted the bust for one minute..

    This brings back nightmares of the g-ziz, it’s cars like this I’m so glad Nissan and Mitsubishi came out with there alternatives at that time, so with 3kw you get about 12 to 15 miles range, just enough for the zero emissions zone but not much else, I think I’ll stick with the leaf

    Love this idea....but no matter how tiny it’s still a one metre wide car which would not get through traffic any quicker than he did when describing his journey in at the beginning of the video. Of course a small electric car is always preferable for environmental reasons and parking in urban environments and I can see hiring them to tourists would be great too. I still believe that beating traffic environmentally is best done on on an electric bike or electric moped. I understand that safety and weather becomes an issue with two wheels but honestly for now it’s the only way to beat traffic. E bikes now are getting better all the time and routinely have 40 miles of range. This idea is to be applauded though.

    You could have edited out you driving that pollutant vehicle after all this is about you demonstrating a pollutant free transport, start as you mean to go on.
    It would be far better to have audio only and be able to see an outside recording of the vehicle being driven on the road doing it this way make for sense to the viewer.

    That's obviously a golf cart. 7kWh isn't going to take anything far but at £11k+vat it's not cheap enough to be a spare car.
    Why would you get this over a plug in hybrid which would serve the normal car purpose and have a pretty similar electric range to this. It's also not going to add £13200 to the price of the car. Or be a death trap without a heater.

  • @mycomment1862
    @mycomment1862 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I really don't see the benefit. Less safe than a car, less agile than an electric scooter.
    Take away delivery scooters are being replaced with E Bikes in the Netherlands. That seems like a much more healthy and environmentally freindly solution to me and doesn't add as much to congestion.
    For car sharing, a proper car like a Zoe would seem more logical to me. Safer and usable for journeys out of the city.

    Would prefer it as one person version so it has more maneuverability on pedestrian areas and cycling paths as it's not a car. Also making the black Biro a limited edition version is just retarded, it should be the base model. Don't try to advertise this as some expensive luxury item, people might actually want to ride one for it's comfort and other practicality.
