    The blacksmith shop has been in business for seven generations, including Matsutaro, Hideshiro, Yoshio, Yuichi, Akifumi and Tomomon.
    The war ended when Hideshiro and Yoshio began making swords and Yoshio V and Yuichi VI began to make swords, and in 1952 they were commissioned by the government to make a Japanese sword to commemorate the war.
    2007: Tomomon Hirose, the seventh generation and current head of the company, takes over the blacksmithing business.
