Thing with this Liverpool team is that they haven't even hit top gear yet. You get the feeling that this team is going to get better and better as the players gets fully embedded with Slots ball.
I got to enjoy him for three seasons at Feyenoord. In more general terms, his biggest strength as a coach is that he's very good at managing individual players and getting the most out of them in terms of raising the qualities he needs from them to play in the system he wants to play. He was helped by an excellent scouting staff that was great at identifying undervalued players that had the potential to grow within the system he wants to play.
I like everything about ARNE SLOT. He's great with the media, uses fab tactics, not afraid to make team changes and most of all he knows how to win...great manager.
Slot definitely deserves what he has done. Now no style is perfect and injuries play a huge role evident in city now losing rodri. But slots rotation is also masterful having somewhat limited what would have been under klopps high intensity style possibly caused more strain injuries. Of course slot will face loses and draws but with his approach it could maximise winning potential. Now in cup football this almost doesn't even matter but in league football that consistency will definitely keep liverpool a threat all season should they have a relatively managed injury list

He did it at Feyenoord with Orkun Kokcu, Quinten Timber, Mats Wieffer. Know I see him reviving Ryan Gravenberch. That is Arne Slot his trademark. He makes players better he pushes them to their full potential. When he was at Feyenoord his press conference were always wonderful to watch. The way he speaks and chooses his words are just astonishing. The way he talks about football is on the level of Johan Cruijff. Legendary footballer Marco van Basten always loved the way he talks about football. I miss him alot at Feyenoord but I love it to see how he is doing with Liverpool.
Now we know Arnett slot he the right mamanagers for liverpool and kloop should be happy with with players he left in liverpool I'm so happy for the game in the managers nwl
We keep saying that it's still too early cause we don't want to jinx ourselves, there's always a chance for a drop in form and/or city will steam roll everything at the end of the season. But he is a great manager, you can see it in how the team improves in tye 2nd half, and he's doing it with players that were already there, cause virtually Ciesa hasn't played.

Wouldn't say Slot copycats the tactics of Klopp and Pep. More like refines and tweaks both systems to make it safer to attack, defend on the counter, and easier to take heavy punishment from various teams.
As a Liverpool fan through and through and watching this he may not get the praise but Alexis is playing that role gini did when we were successful but he is doing it to another level. People want to see Liverpool drop off, my instinct if he get injured you will see this. But gravenberch has always looked a good player and slot has found an way to make home work which could hopefully cover this gap

He doesn't invert his fallbacks if you watch the matches, Robertson is more disciplined while Trent take almost a free role, inverting when need and holding width as well.

Agree with you as well. Gini never got that much of a chance to show his full skills as he had a slightly different role in the team as to the midfielders now. We have a more controlled approach now where we can use more skill rather than just being runners like beforehand. This may be key in keeping our midfield fresh throughout the season. Gravenberch was such an astute signing. He didn't really fit in under Klopp but under Slot he has thrived. We got an absolute bargain
