You read your favorite book, the one you have already read 100 times but it never gets old. You read by the lights of the Christmas tree, the pages awash in red and green light. As the sun rises and the darkness fades you look out at the fresh snowfall. It sparkles in the gentle morning light, hinting at a perfect day ahead. Christmas memories. (in October)... Edit: I’m back. It’s Christmas time again and it’s crazy to think about all that has happened in the last year. I’m supposed to be writing a paper right now but I’d rather be writing this. The lights are up and even though Thanksgiving is next it’s Christmas that is getting everyone excited. The days are getting shorter and the air chillier. A light dusting of snow adorns the mountaintops and and soon Christmas will be here. It’s time to relax, to spend time with loved ones and to be generous and get in that Christmas spirit. Christmas just isnt the same anymore.. nothing really is yk? When I was younger everything seemed brighter as it got closer to christmas even though its usually cloudy and dark in winter, the snow falling softly and glistening in the lights was magical, my numbingly cold cheeks and nose were refreshing, the christmas lights and decorations made me feel a certain way. Now its really feels just like another day.. honestly every special occasion just doesnt feel special anymore, even birthdays. I always wonder if this christmas will be the christmas where my childhood innocence and feelings of excitement comes back to me.. even if its for a fleeting moment because I miss it so much
I hope you can feel the excitement of christmas this year. I feel like i'm not the same joyful person i used to be and a sort of mental block is stopping me from enjoying it like i used to. But, i haven't lost hope. I still feel a certain way when i see decorations in the mall. Where I live, christmas isn't as commercial and i find myself convinced that it should be. But it really isn't, even though pretty lights on every street and snow seem cool. It all seems so far out of reach and it depresses me. Christmas is about a warm feeling inside your heart despite the circumstances, at least thats what i believe. Again, i hope you enjoy christmas this year.

Sometimes when it's snowing, I'll put on the Narnia soundtrack and listen to it during school. It lifts my spirits alittle and my innocent little self during Christmas that's trapped in my depressing teenage body comes to life as I look out at the snowfall and replay the scenes from the story of my childhood. I long for the days when Christmas was magical. Not being able to fall asleep Christmas Eve... Your whole family here for a meal of fondue and turkey... The smell of the car heater while you drive with your mom through a blizzard... The feel of a cozy winter coat doused in fabric softener... Shopping in the amazingly decorated mall that seemed so much bigger when you were younger... The flavor of a candy cane given to you everywhere you go... Visiting New York City for the first time and being blasted in the face with snow walking through the forest of stringlights and wellwishers... Charlie Brown on your aunt's huge screen tv... Falling asleep to the sound of holiday music on the FM radio... Those were the days.
Ouch that New York one hit different bc my family went to NYC for the first time like 6-7 years ago and it was November, I think. There were so many Christmas decorations, and even though we stayed only 2 days, it was magical. Now NYC is a mess lol

You lay in your bed with your cozy Christmas sweater or Pyjamas. You eat ginger bread men or other treats. When the movie is finished you feel a sensation. You get ready for bed and that was it. The next morning comes. It’s cold. You can barely get out of bed. But you do. Because you have to. Whilst getting ready you listen to this playlist. You’re finally happy. You’re even excited for this day. Maybe it’ll snow! Just like 5 years ago. You get your hopes up. I love Christmas :) it truly is the best time of the year. 🎄

It reminds me of the times when I was a kid... during cold winter evenings with snow falling down, and me sitting comfy by the window watching it... smelling the dinner my grandma was cooking at the same time... Times I didn't have to worry about anything and could fully enjoy the moment. It's sad that I took these moments for granted. Listening to these songs takes me back to these days, thank you 😭

This feels new but its been 5 years after listening to this every Christmas. Its shocking how time goes fast honestly because it has been probably 5 years also when covid started and this was one of the only playlists that I listen to almost every day of December.

Christmas used to be magical when I was a kid, then it started to feel a little sad ; but I still love to be the first one to wake up on Christmas morning, while the day is still dark and there's just the light of the Christmas tree and its reflection on the glossy paper of presents and chocolates, and then read a book on the couch under a blanket while I wait for my family to wake up. Then we'll open everything, put on jazz music and make ourselves a big breakfast while my dog is excitedly watching from outside the big windows. I live across the country from them so Christmas is also an opportunity to come back home and see my parents and my sisters and my cute doggo, and to celebrate New Years Eve with all of my old friends !
I can honestly say, out of all the lofi chillhop mixes on TH-cam, this is the one I have returned to over and over every year. It’s become something of a new tradition for me, I even return to it throughout the year (writing this in June). POV: you sneaked into Disney at late midnight before its closing at Christmas Eve, after the streets were cleaned with the mass celebration last night, and the decorative lights would be gone in 9 mins- and you stumbled across this street alone. You felt cold with the lightness of the snow on your shoulder, you could almost taste the melting ice, of its transparent, blue form. But what conquered the cold was your thrilling sensation from the bottom of your heart, as you were indulging in this unusually calm, fuzzy sentiment on this tranquil street. Knowing that, for once, you got to own Disney by yourself, just exactly like what you imagined as a kid. You played the second song of the playlist, as you always did, then paced carefully so as to not get noticed- as you wandered through the street in solitude, under the fainting, yet majestic Christmas lights.
Imo, these feelings are the best part of Christmas. Of course there is a dark side of Christmas (stress, consumerism, etc.) but, these are the feelings I look forward to when I think of Christmas.
Christmas vibes is bittersweet, it's beautiful to listen to yet reminds me how lonely I am during the holidaze. Ah well, blaze up and enjoy Christmas this year!

I seriously used to be burnt out during the Holidays. From about age 19-23, I've tried so hard to make the magic come back, but it never really has. However, somehow, this year... I feel it. I FEEL IT IN MY BONEEZZZ. I'm so, so pumped for the holidays this year. My family is complaining about Christmasy stuff being out so early (I don't think it's THAT early, a month goes by really fast) but here I am feeling happy and giddy over it. I haven't felt this happy and excited and comforted by Christmas/holiday stuff in years. I refuse to let my family's own burn out ruin this for me. Maybe it's because I'm going to be an aunt, and I get a sister-in-law next month, so it's made a change of pace. Maybe a slight change in my life is all I needed to fully live it more. My life is kind of boring, and has been the same since I was.. well, about 18/19, so this slight change (though not that huge because I don't think I'll see my niece/nephew as often as I think, and I barely know my SIL) is making this year significant. Other years just blur together into one and I guess I struggled living in the moment because of that. ... Please ignore this, I like to ramble to strangers I guess?? TLDR: I used to not but now i doooooooo

I’m back because I needed to hear this playlist again. Throughout December I would play this while wrapping presents in pjs drinking wine 🍷 all by myself, and man it felt so good. Made me feel all warm and tingly inside. Christmas time is such a beautiful and magical time. POV: You’re walking on the snowy streets of your city, nobody to celebrate Christmas Eve with, so you decide to buy yourself something. You walk into a cute little shop, and there are so many things you just can’t decide! You hear children singing beautifully in the back, and the shop owner and his wife are peacefully drinking eggnog while eating soft cinnamon buns. You buy yourself some adorable plushies and a new sketchbook. You walk outside and most of the lights are out. You can feel the cold breeze blowing upon your hair. Your cheeks and nose are bright cherry red, but you aren’t even bothered by the fact you’re freezing. You look up at the beautiful starry night sky and see how beautiful the stars are. The moon is shining bright in the sky, and the little snowflakes fall on your nose. You can hear everyone caroling and having a great time. You walk around the city, looking at everyone being happy, which makes you happy. The beautiful lights and stars makes you feel happy and relaxed. You walk to a beautifully decorated fountain with shining white beads, cute wreaths, and gorgeous flowers surrounding it. You walk up to it and ask for a surprise next morning, and you throw a coin in the water. The coin slowly falls to the ground, and it’s shimmering in the water. You walk back to your car, looking at the beautiful sights. The glowing lights, cute dogs walking with their owners, eating Christmas treats, and having a good time. You reach the parking lot you parked your car in, which was a McDonald’s parking lot. “Maybe one last stop for a coffee wouldn’t hurt” you thought, as you walk to the entrance of the McDonald’s. You open the door and walk in. There’s Charlie Brown Christmas music playing, and Rudolph and Frosty decorations. You walk over to the counter and ask for a coffee. A few minutes later you receive your coffee and walk out. The pleasant smell of coffee beans fills your lungs as you breath in, and out, slowly. You get in your car and the radio music is nice and relaxing. Your head sways from side to side, as you hum peacefully to the music. As you enter your driveway you notice your friends waiting at the door for you, smiling. You realize it’s 1am. It’s Christmas! You run out of your car, hugging your friends, with a wide smile, almost knocking them down. They ask if they can come in, and you give them the keys. You take your presents and coffee out of the car, and run inside the house, so fast, you almost forget to lock it. Everyone has brought something, and a small tear of joy runs down your cheek. That Christmas, you and your friends had a feast, played games, and went shopping. Your wish did come true. :) - GUYSS ITS DECEMBER 16TH WERE SO CLOSE!! -
Christmas is one of those times that really make you think back at how fun it was when you were so little and young. Christmas always loses it's touch each year you grow up, at least that's how it is for me. I just hope one day that spark of joy that I got from this holiday comes back to me. It's still my favorite time of year, though.

A new scent, a chocolaty scent you lightly sip your hot chocolate and absorb every ounce of warmth and sweetness. Your fingers linger around the soft stitching of the fuzzy blanket as you wrap yourself into its vast warmth. You open the window a magical wind delicately so delicate that it swims around the room swaying the silver ornaments as lightly as a doves feather. The fireplace softly hissing to the rhythm of the swaying crystal-like ornaments. You open a book laying your hand on the silky yet rock hardcover, flipping slowly touching the rough aged papers as if never touches before with words marking themselves wrapping themselves like a soft warm blanket in another mind. You finish sipping your hot chocolate wishing you can savor every moment, the mug that was once as warm the sun is now as cold as snow, the fireplace stops burning the scent of ashes overpower your mind the scent of pinecones is just another old scent nothing special, instead of waves of laughter of joy and spirit it all becomes dead silent with haunting spirits of your past, the Christmas lights on the tree fade and die down, the book once silky now stoned the ornaments stop swaying all at once the moonlight disapears into the midnight sky, the snowflakes melt as they hit the ground leaving a puddle there you so see a vaugue reflectio of yourself and think, of an oh so joyful christmas evening, you look up to the sky only one bright glimmery star in the vast sky almost about to fall lingering onto a string of sorrows still standing bright and strong making you think "Maybe there is hope" as you look at the puddle to see your reflection again but something happens, your lips start turning into a different shape that hasn't been like that in so many years the edges of your lips start curving and a smile is across your face as bright as that star and you think to yourself, "Oh, what a silent night"....

Nostalgia is a fondness of memory, and what is the undeniable truth, we can never re-live those moments. What we CAN do, however, whether you celebrate Christmas or not, is to be KIND to one another. Our friends, our families, our neighbors, our communities…all of us. It is not just this time of year to be kind and thoughtful to others, but it is the time when we need it the most. Here I am in the middle of August listening to Christmas music because it makes me feel so warm, that’s the only way I can explain the feeling. I know probably no one will read this comment but I realize how much I take Christmas for granted, I’m gonna make this Christmas the best one yet. 2020 has been actual trash and I’m ready to stop hiding in my room, I’m going to use every weekend in December as a way to play in the snow, go sledding, go ice skating with friends, watch Christmas movies, and decorate early. I’m gonna make sure that December isn’t just me being depressed about school. I’m doing online school which is great I can wake up in the morning, take a warm shower, and drink hot chocolate, light a Christmas candle and do my work while blasting Christmas music. I’m ready y’all let’s get hyped.

Christmas just isnt the same anymore.. nothing really is yk? When I was younger everything seemed brighter as it got closer to christmas even though its usually cloudy and dark in winter, the snow falling softly and glistening in the lights was magical, my numbingly cold cheeks and nose were refreshing, the christmas lights and decorations made me feel a certain way. Now its really feels just like another day.. honestly every special occasion just doesnt feel special anymore, even birthdays. I always wonder if this christmas will be the christmas where my childhood innocence and feelings of excitement comes back to me.. even if its for a fleeting moment because I miss it so much
I hope you can feel the excitement of christmas this year. I feel like i'm not the same joyful person i used to be and a sort of mental block is stopping me from enjoying it like i used to. But, i haven't lost hope. I still feel a certain way when i see decorations in the mall. Where I live, christmas isn't as commercial and i find myself convinced that it should be. But it really isn't, even though pretty lights on every street and snow seem cool. It all seems so far out of reach and it depresses me. Christmas is about a warm feeling inside your heart despite the circumstances, at least thats what i believe. Again, i hope you enjoy christmas this year.

Who else loves Christmas? Winter isn’t like any other season. Winter is Special. The Christmas season is special. It’s cold and rainy but it’s special. We get to get out our winter jackets and boots. School sucks but think about it. You getting home from a long day of school. It’s almost dark. You go up to your room and put on a Christmas movie. You lay in your bed with your cozy Christmas sweater or Pyjamas. You eat ginger bread men or other treats. When the movie is finished you feel a sensation. You get ready for bed and that was it. The next morning comes. It’s cold. You can barely get out of bed. But you do. Because you have to. Whilst getting ready you listen to this playlist. You’re finally happy. You’re even excited for this day. Maybe it’ll snow! Just like 5 years ago. You get your hopes up. I love Christmas :) it truly is the best time of the year. 🎄

Christmas used to be magical when I was a kid, then it started to feel a little sad ; but I still love to be the first one to wake up on Christmas morning, while the day is still dark and there's just the light of the Christmas tree and its reflection on the glossy paper of presents and chocolates, and then read a book on the couch under a blanket while I wait for my family to wake up.
Then we'll open everything, put on jazz music and make ourselves a big breakfast while my dog is excitedly watching from outside the big windows.
I live across the country from them so Christmas is also an opportunity to come back home and see my parents and my sisters and my cute doggo, and to celebrate New Years Eve with all of my old friends !

POV: you sneaked into Disney at late midnight before its closing at Christmas Eve, after the streets were cleaned with the mass celebration last night, and the decorative lights would be gone in 9 mins- and you stumbled across this street alone. You felt cold with the lightness of the snow on your shoulder, you could almost taste the melting ice, of its transparent, blue form. But what conquered the cold was your thrilling sensation from the bottom of your heart, as you were indulging in this unusually calm, fuzzy sentiment on this tranquil street. Knowing that, for once, you got to own Disney by yourself, just exactly like what you imagined as a kid. You played the second song of the playlist, as you always did, then paced carefully so as to not get noticed- as you wandered through the street in solitude, under the fainting, yet majestic Christmas lights.
Then security finds you and you get arrested for trespassing but your still happy.

Imo, these feelings are the best part of Christmas. Of course there is a dark side of Christmas (stress, consumerism, etc.) but, these are the feelings I look forward to when I think of Christmas.

I seriously used to be burnt out during the Holidays. From about age 19-23, I've tried so hard to make the magic come back, but it never really has. However, somehow, this year... I feel it. I FEEL IT IN MY BONEEZZZ. I'm so, so pumped for the holidays this year. My family is complaining about Christmasy stuff being out so early (I don't think it's THAT early, a month goes by really fast) but here I am feeling happy and giddy over it.
I haven't felt this happy and excited and comforted by Christmas/holiday stuff in years. I refuse to let my family's own burn out ruin this for me. Maybe it's because I'm going to be an aunt, and I get a sister-in-law next month, so it's made a change of pace. Maybe a slight change in my life is all I needed to fully live it more.
My life is kind of boring, and has been the same since I was.. well, about 18/19, so this slight change (though not that huge because I don't think I'll see my niece/nephew as often as I think, and I barely know my SIL) is making this year significant. Other years just blur together into one and I guess I struggled living in the moment because of that.

I’m back because I needed to hear this playlist again. Throughout December I would play this while wrapping presents in pjs drinking wine 🍷 all by myself, and man it felt so good. Made me feel all warm and tingly inside. Christmas time is such a beautiful and magical time. I hope anyone who has a hard time feeling that remembers it’s the little things that we do that will bring back those feelings. POV: You’re walking on the snowy streets of your city, nobody to celebrate Christmas Eve with, so you decide to buy yourself something. You walk into a cute little shop, and there are so many things you just can’t decide! You hear children singing beautifully in the back, and the shop owner and his wife are peacefully drinking eggnog while eating soft cinnamon buns. You buy yourself some adorable plushies and a new sketchbook. You walk outside and most of the lights are out. You can feel the cold breeze blowing upon your hair. Your cheeks and nose are bright cherry red, but you aren’t even bothered by the fact you’re freezing. You look up at the beautiful starry night sky and see how beautiful the stars are. The moon is shining bright in the sky, and the little snowflakes fall on your nose. You can hear everyone caroling and having a great time. You walk around the city, looking at everyone being happy, which makes you happy. The beautiful lights and stars makes you feel happy and relaxed. You walk to a beautifully decorated fountain with shining white beads, cute wreaths, and gorgeous flowers surrounding it. You walk up to it and ask for a surprise next morning, and you throw a coin in the water. The coin slowly falls to the ground, and it’s shimmering in the water. You walk back to your car, looking at the beautiful sights. The glowing lights, cute dogs walking with their owners, eating Christmas treats, and having a good time. You reach the parking lot you parked your car in, which was a McDonald’s parking lot. “Maybe one last stop for a coffee wouldn’t hurt” you thought, as you walk to the entrance of the McDonald’s. You open the door and walk in. There’s Charlie Brown Christmas music playing, and Rudolph and Frosty decorations. You walk over to the counter and ask for a coffee. A few minutes later you receive your coffee and walk out. The pleasant smell of coffee beans fills your lungs as you breath in, and out, slowly. You get in your car and the radio music is nice and relaxing. Your head sways from side to side, as you hum peacefully to the music. As you enter your driveway you notice your friends waiting at the door for you, smiling. You realize it’s 1am. It’s Christmas! You run out of your car, hugging your friends, with a wide smile, almost knocking them down. They ask if they can come in, and you give them the keys. You take your presents and coffee out of the car, and run inside the house, so fast, you almost forget to lock it. Everyone has brought something, and a small tear of joy runs down your cheek. That Christmas, you and your friends had a feast, played games, and went shopping. Your wish did come true. :) - GUYSS ITS DECEMBER 16TH WERE SO CLOSE!! -

This has become my favorite Christmas lofi. I play it almost daily from Thanksgiving through December.
Christmas is one of those times that really make you think back at how fun it was when you were so little and young. Christmas always loses it's touch each year you grow up, at least that's how it is for me. I just hope one day that spark of joy that I got from this holiday comes back to me. It's still my favorite time of year, though.
The dark night sky with twinkly bright stars just a speckle of light in the vast dark sky, you look out your window the reflection of the Christmas tree lights among the glimmery snowflakes so glimmery, so glimmery, shifting in red and green with a glow, oh so heartwarming and wholesome bringing a scent of warm pinecones and peppermint. The snow hitting the cold concrete outside sparkling to the moon's light making everyone's heart swing to the calming melody of the joy in the laughter of the children playing outside. A new scent, a chocolaty scent you lightly sip your hot chocolate and absorb every ounce of warmth and sweetness. Your fingers linger around the soft stitching of the fuzzy blanket as you wrap yourself into its vast warmth. You open the window a magical wind delicately so delicate that it swims around the room swaying the silver ornaments as lightly as a doves feather. The fireplace softly hissing to the rhythm of the swaying crystal-like ornaments. You open a book laying your hand on the silky yet rock hardcover, flipping slowly touching the rough aged papers as if never touches before with words marking themselves wrapping themselves like a soft warm blanket in another mind. You finish sipping your hot chocolate wishing you can savor every moment, the mug that was once as warm the sun is now as cold as snow, the fireplace stops burning the scent of ashes overpower your mind the scent of pinecones is just another old scent nothing special, instead of waves of laughter of joy and spirit it all becomes dead silent with haunting spirits of your past, the Christmas lights on the tree fade and die down, the book once silky now stoned the ornaments stop swaying all at once the moonlight disapears into the midnight sky, the snowflakes melt as they hit the ground leaving a puddle there you so see a vaugue reflectio of yourself and think, of an oh so joyful christmas evening, you look up to the sky only one bright glimmery star in the vast sky almost about to fall lingering onto a string of sorrows still standing bright and strong making you think "Maybe there is hope" as you look at the puddle to see your reflection again but something happens, your lips start turning into a different shape that hasn't been like that in so many years the edges of your lips start curving and a smile is across your face as bright as that star and you think to yourself, "Oh, what a silent night"....

Hi everyone. It’s 2024, and our world can really use some Christmas cheer. Regardless of where you are on the planet, I know there is some kind of hardship in your life.
Many of us recall Christmas being a happy time. A time of joy, cheerfulness, and warmth. As we have aged and seen the atrocities invade our lives, it’s hard to remember to keep Christmas is our hearts.
Nostalgia is a fondness of memory, and what is the undeniable truth, we can never re-live those moments. What we CAN do, however, whether you celebrate Christmas or not, is to be KIND to one another.
Our friends, our families, our neighbors, our communities…all of us. It is not just this time of year to be kind and thoughtful to others, but it is the time when we need it the most.
The only way for us to re-experience that Christmas magic… is to make it ourselves. The kindness, the mindfulness, the joyful surprise of giving to others…as adults it is our job to make it happen. We aren’t kids anymore….

Here I am in the middle of August listening to Christmas music because it makes me feel so warm, that’s the only way I can explain the feeling. I know probably no one will read this comment but I realize how much I take Christmas for granted, I’m gonna make this Christmas the best one yet. 2020 has been actual trash and I’m ready to stop hiding in my room, I’m going to use every weekend in December as a way to play in the snow, go sledding, go ice skating with friends, watch Christmas movies, and decorate early. I’m gonna make sure that December isn’t just me being depressed about school. I’m doing online school which is great I can wake up in the morning, take a warm shower, and drink hot chocolate, light a Christmas candle and do my work while blasting Christmas music. I’m ready y’all let’s get hyped.
