There were those clubs in the outer boroughs, The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens, but nothing compared like the city. You're absolutely right, i would give any to back to those days. I'm 54 years old now but I was 17 years old when this song was a hit. That was the best summer ever. Actually, 1978 and 1979, the start of hip hop and free style dancing. Would give anything to go back to those times.

Luis, agree, Actually it began for me in New York City. I'd hit clubs like Studio 54, Roselans, The Fun House, and the legendary Loft. Oh excuse me, The Garage. There were those clubs in the outer boroughs, The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens, but nothing compared like the city. You're absolutely right, i would give any to back to those days. Though i'm happy that i have fond memories. Unlike the youth of today.
