4:04 as a violinist, they are not joking 😂 you had to see my reaction when my violin teacher said at least $1k for a decent enough beginner violin and absolutely nothing under $500 unless you want disappoinment 🤣 ofc i ended up with a $300 instead which fortunately wasnt bad considering its price and has lasted me pretty long
maybe because i am from india and my mom plays an india instrument called veena which is 10 times costlier than a violin i thought violens were the cheapest, well except flutes
@@iamvoldy4583 idk what instrument that is but if it is usually handmade and not something like a flute, I think that's understandable especially if it's rare But violins are for sure not cheap.... like all instruments, there are cheap variants so you may have just been seeing cheap plastic/factory made violins 😭
