Keep grinding bro just got back in to dauntless and there’s a huge pocket for dauntless TH-camrs easy because the game is 5 years old and you’re actually one of the better ones even though you have less subs
The earth cell is an actual match made in heaven for the Silver Sword! Earth consuming your shields allows you to constantly build up towards the Aegis free hit ability, and the Sword buffing shield gain even further makes that very strong. The only things I'd remark on are that it lacks some damage and the armor pieces make it obligated to run catalyst, which might not be great. I'd also change pulse to cunning, because sword doesn't gain a lot from running pulse. My ideal setup for such a build would be +6: Cunning, Earth, Galvanized, Predator, Reuse +3: Aegis, Guardian, Parasitic Avenging overdrive special, recursive hilt mod. I understand that this is supposed to be a high sustain build, but you might not even need to run aegis at all if you can ramp up the damage and shield gain that way. The parasitic will cover up for most of the damage taken, which also benefits from doing more damage :) Great build tho, sorry if this doesn't come up the way i hoped 😅
With +3 you’d lose to free nullify but that’s actually an interesting idea running pred if nullify the attacks keeps pred up hmm… but the uptime on overdrive I would say makes pulse out pace coming imo. Also the version without catalyst keeps up really well then again I’m always running with my pocket bard with reuse 6 and caps grip haha
@@CalebWarta I forgot about the Aegis buff you're completely right. I could test cunning vs pulse damage output when i get home, because cunning does give 15% more crit damage than pulse. I'll post the results in the comments here if you wamt to
Please do I would be interested to see the results main reason I didn’t go cunning was the fact galvanized isn’t really doing anything but the damage boost since the shields never get over 200-300.
@@CalebWartaI kinda forgot but i did the testing... sort of 😅. I don't have the earth cell myself yet, so I couldn't test with that. I subbed in the Earth for berserker. I did only heavy attacks for 1 minute each. Cunning gave me a DPS of 1478, while pulse only gave me a DPS of 1404. I'm not sure how cunning compares to pulse in a build WITH earth, seen as the critrate is lower due to less shield. I'm just going to wait for next season to get the cells i think. Gauntlet is too much of a grind 😴
From my testing pulse beat cunning when using cat I didn’t test with non-tonic version but the blitz with overdrive pushing you into a rapid light attack spam for 25-30 seconds giver or take pushed pulse over.
I believe earth is also its own attack that can also crit but I’m having a hard time testing this theory. But earth damage is sometime included in the hit and some times not…. Needless to say earth has a lot of weird stuff going on lol
@@woop4293 it’s good once you have earth to 6 sword doesn’t need to be maxed out as long as you bond it. Since galv and guardian don’t do much, though having the frost wolf sprints from SS does help damage a lot
The pulse cell drops from cores, the prismatic cell slots take any cell rather than a limited type. For this you need to bond the silver sword to the urska legendary weapon.
Hopefully i can find a group to run some low gauntlets tomorrow before reforging to get those cells. I threw in something else in their slots and running it anyway for leveling. This push through 16 is getting painful
Unfortunately gauntlet really is a guild event! Progression is shared with the guild so any time we group with someone outside the guild we have to go back to their top clear :(
I get that Galvanized is on the sword and Earth is a new perk, but they don't work together at all... Earth is quite terrible primarily since it has zero scaling with any of your other perks and damage buffs (and lets just forget the 30 gauntlets to earn +6) Galvanized seems like a even more of a waste here - at best you have like 4% crit from that 200 shield before spending it all... oh and the Earth can't even crit lmao Aegis.... except you are running Avenging Overdrive!! which is literally 100x better and blocks on demand, so another wasted +6 perk that could be any damage or crit perk really And please i beg you use a useful mod on the sword...
Earth definitely isn’t perfect and your right it doesn’t Crit. The 3 galv is for the Crit damage to boost pulse since your forced to take 3 from the sword so might as well use what you got. An extra 800-1200 damage every swing from earth adds up pretty fast if you have not tried it though. Aegis is there for the % shield gain to achieve the 100% uptime on earth damage. The overdrive total optional I took it for the counter attack when the monster double taps and because I enjoy that special in general.
Could definitely switch pulse for cunning but without getting much Crit chance from galv due to earth this was doing more damage in testing. And didn’t feel like throwing away the +3 galv
Side note I tested the catalyst version with cunning not the other version. Without blitz for the extra speed and more overdrive uptime I think cunning would pull ahead. But once you add say reuse from a party member it would most likely flip back to pulse pulling ahead. Just some thoughts I’ll have to test cunning again on the non-tonic build now!

Not sure if it was nerfed or not but it’s still so strong you can easily just wipe any behemoth even at an elemental disadvantage

I would probably go +6 berserk and trade tenacious for +6 adrenaline the tenacious work because of the aegis uptime from earth 6

i tried an aegis build with the frostwulf cloak/gloves, but i think it’s not nearly as good until i have a full build with the maxed out silver sword
