The vulture once warned the fowl to be very mindful of his engagement with humans. The Fowl never listened but will always visit the human community for food. One day a great famine occured in the village, everyone was hungry. Fowl was at the village waiting for food from his human friends. The humans were so hungry that they started killing their babies for food. One day kwaku said to his dad. Why don't we kill the fowl instead of our friends for food. The fowl was then killed. It's was then that they realized how delicious 😋 chicken meat was. That fowl became a curse to his lineage. Humans then started hunting for fowls consequently. Vulture (kokosekyi) said, I advised my friend the fowl but he wouldn't listed, now look at the mess he has caused for every fowl. As for me vulture, me and my descendants will continue to eat at the dumpsite so that our meat will never appeal to humans. Familiarity indeed breeds contempt.!!!
It has taken me 23 gud years to finally understand this song. My mum used to sing this song a lot when I was off course and didn't realise the harm I was causing to my ownself. Tnx for this masterpiece it will always be in my heart n at the back of my memory.❤❤❤
I remember this song! My UST days, we went for one wake-keeping like that.... Then the Akpeteshie dey flow! And this song was on repeat. That was one memorable experience of my youthful days.
The song explains Children must respect their elders and listen to their advice all else one day they will regret although it's mostly played when one wants tease the other after winning is a nice Ghanaian melody
I remember when my dad passed away I was just 8 years dancing to this song at the funeral .. all the adults were amazed how a little boy could dance so well, that’s what I was thinking then .. but now that am an adult I understand , how sad a father passed away and left his son
@@SaradaUchiha34646, it is a song asking everyone to heed to advise whenever given to them especially by parents, adults etc since refusing advise would affect you negatively. He further said at some point parents or adults would leave you to your fate when you continuously refuse to heed to advise and would patiently wait for the negative effect which would definitely determine whether you would come to your senses or not.
I have been looking for this song for ages. Thank you Mr Musician and the one who uploaded it here. Please Samuel Owusu still alive? He deserves an award
