  • Chinese Street Food - Sichuan China 🇨🇳
Mianyang is the 2nd largest city in Sichuan, after Chengdu. Let's visit their popular Ma Jia Xiang Food Street. In this Street Food Tour, we will see unusual food like grilled bull frog and rabbit meat.
Just like the rest of China, people here don't carry cash. All payment transactions are done through QR codes. Even beggars in China prefer receiving money through QR Code instead of cash. You can see this at 01:54 in the video. Enjoy this walk my friends 😀

Yes, it's free and easy. Very often, my wife and I plan our destinations, leaving the logistics to be figured out on the ground. It's more fun this way.

Thank you for uploading this fantastic sichuan food tour. It’s a foodie heaven for sure. It’s funny the begger has a QR code

The beggar in the video carried a little box with a QR code so that people can give cash or transfer money. Most Chinese people don't carry cash so beggars needed to adapt. I have more China videos to upload if the viewership picks up. It's good so far.

The valuable information you provided about your video content on the Street Tour in Sichuan Province, where all payments are made via QR codes, including Beggars receiving money through QR codes, is fascinating.
The city is bustling, and Ma Jia Xiang’s food stalls showcase a variety of delicious offerings, including delicacies such as rabbit and frog.
Your video camera politely captures the atmosphere of this area, including various shops, at a leisurely pace.
We feel that your video work, including the editing, showcases the breadth of your perspective!✨☝️😊

Sichuan is the home of Mala (a kind of spicy and numbing). Rabbit meat is a common dish there. I was once stranded at a train station with some cash in my pocket but without Wechat Pay on my phone, as my wife was visiting another place. The vending machines don't accept cash and neither did the commuters. Cash seems to be a burden to them. I waiting for sometime till a station staff appeared and helped me buy a ticket.
I will be travelling to Sichuan again in 2 months time as Singapore Airlines has a special offer - where air ticket to Chongqing is cheaper than air ticket to Bangkok!!! This will be a nature and hiking trip. I will be travelling a lot this year as I am semi retired.

      Semi-retirement sounds wonderful!
With more free time, it’s easier to be active.
You can also focus on video production.
      Please enjoy to the fullest!☝️😊🎶

I don't have a smartphone. I guess if I went there I'd have to get one or starve! It's sad that the people you filmed will be unable to see your video, as TH-cam is, I think, still banned for most people in China.

You will have to get one there or you will starve. Haha. I thought I had prepared myself well to overcome the Great Firewall of China, but I was wrong. I subscribed to the world's 2nd best VPN (Nord VPN) as it was affordable. I couldn't even get online for one second. I then subscribed to the world's best VPN (Express VPN). Each time I could get on-line for something like 2 minutes, and it's subsequently blocked. Both VPNs offer 30-day money back guarantee. I got my money back with no fuss.
Before the trip, my wife bought SIM cards from on-line Shopee that claimed to have access to all international social media apps while in China. These worked perfectly. But data was limited and speed was slow 😀
