I love how they became besties. I love their friendship so much, Edwin let his guard down around her and she just openly accepted him for who he was, we need more people like Niko in the world. I do hope they retrieve her soul from the astral plain in season 2.
You would think that Edwin would find her insufferable and/or find her fascinating because she's kind of an air-head but i absolutely love that they instead went in this direction. Their genuine friendship and mutual like and respect for each other is so great. i really hope we get a season 2. 😭😭
Finally! I've been waiting for this! I loved it where Niko's personality allows Edwin to tear down his walls bit by bit, to be vulnerable to Niko, and Niko had nothing but love and acceptance towards Edwin. Really love the rooftop scene where Edwin had the courage to update Niko about his confession. The last episode where Edwin cried and yelled in agony on the table, you can really feel his pain and suffering. Even though it was a new budding friendship, but it was a friendship that Edwin holds so close to his heart. (Trying not to outrightly spoil the last episode, but everyone knows what happened.). Thanks for this video, really love to see how this 'unusual' friendship blossomed throughout the episodes. Season 2 is very much a MUST HAVE please Netflix, please.
I will just point out, when niko sacrificed herself, they didn't see her ghost. even though the end kinda pointed to it, I'm pretty sure Niko isn't exactly dead or passed on yet, cause if she was we'd see her ghost and death's blue light would be showing up probably.
