As poorly designed at Hoshi Wo Miru Hito was, the 1P2C Any% run showed us a very interesting idea. That being reality manipulation. The way I see it, player 1 is the hero of the game and player 2 is the villain’s most reliable henchman. Player 1’s task is to stop the villain and player 2’s task is to mess with player 1 in as many creative ways as possible. If Hoshi Wo Miru Hito had more time to focus on that, it could’ve provided a run for Dragon Quest’s money… or at least it could’ve failed less miserably to say the least.
Lmao Hoshi wa Miru Ito is a hilarious run. The guy is funny, he's playing with two controllers, and the game has no final boss fight, its just a cutscene.
