All of my favorite Japanese shops, restaurants and cafes are here so it makes me feel like I live in Tokyo again:') We ate at Okan, grocery shopped in Nijiya, checked out Tokyo Central Main, and grabbed parfait at a matcha cafe! I just learned recently that California is actually home to the largest Japanese community in the US, and now I see why! Really wish we had that kind of hot spot in France or Europe too, but it's mainly Chinese communities and Chinatowns around here 🏮

Oh my gosh when I was living in Hawaii we had a Don Quijote and they love that story. They have absolutely everything that you need and actually stuff that you don’t need either lol. Best store ever. But we don’t have one here in Texas bummer
I miss going to TCM, it was huge and well kept(I need to find another replacement store in my current location). I used to go there randomly to have fun browsing when I lived there.
