I've heard Tekking 101 and a couple of other people throw the dark theory out there that the reason we didn't see Arlong in Impel Down is because him and the rest of the Arlong Pirates excluding Hatchan were sent to Mariejois to become slaves for the Celestial Dragons. Imagine when the final war at Mariejois goes down and during all the chaos the slaves all get set free and the one that releases Arlong is Nami. That would be crazy.
Good lord that would be so shitty for arlong. I think nami releasing him would work, but Jinbei would be a good pick as well.
@BigCheep True. But it would sort of be him and the rest of the Arlong Pirates' punishment for the sins they committed on Cocoyasi Village and Nami for all those years they tortured and bullied them. Sometimes, karma comes back ten fold especially in this case. Though, no one no matter how bad should never go through slavery.

Syv, I wanted to point out that the “fire narrative” you mention, is something that’s been growing within the crew itself as well.
Luffy with red hawk, Sanji with diable and ifrit jambe, as well as now with Zoro and the king of hell.
They’re slowly getting more multicolored flames and I could see more members in the crew get more fire based attacks maybe as a way to truly represent a common theme on the Sun God’s crew

So far luffy even in gear 5 not able to scratch gorosei. It makes complete sense to me him eating those flames.

Tbf with Kaido. Luffy killing him would be fulfilling his dream. When Kaido was introduced was literally given the epithet “The man looking for a place to die”. Also explicitly said that Joyboy would defeat him. I personally think he is dead and realistically he has like 10% chance to show up final war.
That wasn’t his dream, that was his plan to escape from the failure to acquire his dream.
Killing him could also be killing his aspirations or dreams which Luffy technically did by showing him that he wasn't the one to be JoyBoy but Luffy was

I really think saturns reaction to the mother flame was just to show how dark they are. Remember when saturn says its been a long time since hes been to the surface? I think maybe the mother glame is super bright like a white flame or bright white light. Kinda like sitting inside all day and walking out and you cringe when that sunlight hits your eyes. The gorosei ate planets and are used to order and datkness.

What if the mother flame is the closest Vegapunk got to recreating Ace's fire power? Ace was imprisoned at Impel Down, so VP would've had access to his lineage factor. This would also provide another reason for Luffy to go after the mother flame. What do you think?

Not really. he can't fit in that room as a giant spider. Saturn flinching when seeing the motherflame is something to discuss. the mother flame is just a small imitation of the sun. It was the power of the sun that scared saturn, and when luffy learns how to harness it, he'll be able to hurt the elders.

So it sounds like to me the Sun God Nika got turned into a devil fruit or became the first devil fruit because emu did something and then Joy boy was the first person to eat that fruit and because emu curse all devil fruits, somehow the sea hates them

Every pirate aspires to either be joyboy, looks up to joyboy or will look up to joyboy now due to Vegapunks message. That being the case, if Joyboy fought when all the kingdoms were still together (and I’m assuming he fought for the kingdoms) it makes sense that Luffy is the ‘one piece’ that will bring the kingdoms back together. Hence the X on his chest since this is a pirate based anime. I think the ‘one piece’ is either Luffy himself or just a big mirror on the final island.
Edit: there’s also a rope passing through Luffy’s pirate flag on the opening of every One piece episode.

It's all about the Final War. And the eventual "One Piece". That's why Mihaek said Luffy has a special power since the beginning. The power to make people his "allies" so easily. This was foreshadowing when Luffy gets One Piece. Obviously it's not treasure. But Luffy bringing joy, peace, and freedom to the world and to all races and to every single person. "Joyboy". Even the ones that were enemies. Most of the people that you see Luffy fight are going to be on his side fighting against the World Government in the end. He will even have Marines on his side.

3 out of the gorosei shown in 1114 has this flame around them that isnt their black hagoromo scarf nor are flames caused by the buster call, i wonder if thats the gorosei's energy source for regeneration, if luffy can learn to master or manipulate their flames perhaps he can shut down their regen, it would all make sense why hes the sun god, he be the master of all flames or energy. The iron giant might give luffy the idea to manipulate the gorosei's regen flames

I do not think causing no serious damage or harm to the Gorōsei should count as Luffy dominate them. Was not Luffy harmed instead by just trying to hurt one of Gorōsei
I think the major reason Luffy doing so well is because they are not seriously trying to kill him. Their objective is not kill Luffy at the time but instead deal with Vegapunk and his actions.

My friend this one piece manga story is almost identical to our African history .my ancestors were slaves being robbed of our resources by Europeans we still having hard life's in Africa but we did not loose faith .becouse we believe to the (most high) the creator will come and save us one day (Jah) even our skin colour they hate even today .we believe Satan is doing these things to us Africans becouse he knows the creator (Jah ) loves us the most .one day Satan will be defeated .and we will be free.the story is similar to African history

I know you seen the latest manga chapter the last panel showing joy boy and young zuni/ zunisha joy boy says don’t eat carelessly.. he also commented right after what strange fruit lol and it looks like zunisha ate a whole tree with fruits? Could it be possible that zunisha ate a whole devil fruit tree ?! Like did it have one devil fruit? Or multiple devil fruits? Could the original joy boy effect zunisha with his power to eat multiple devil fruits?
Could zunisha devil fruit and punishment to walk the world and joy boys powers and effect on zunisha cause her to activate devil fruit sprouting as she travels the world cause of her punishment as she walks
And devil fruits sprouts on that island when zunisha passes the island and the devil fruit sprout as they sense the person they are ment to be eaten by?
And her punishment is to walk until all the devil fruit have the souls and person they needed to change the world for the better to avoid another void century and return thing the way it was supposed to be
And people may see it as a punishment but zunisha took on that role as a favor for joy boy as her will to make joy boys dream come true

I always had a theory that chopper will die during the final war and reawaken as a human. I also believe that the previous user of choppers fruit was on joyboys crew. That's why when rewatching luffy recruit chopper, he wouldn't take no for an answer. Imagine that joyboy asking a human to become a pirate with him.
