Ta'al Volcano is much larger than it appears at first glance. The lake surrounding the larger island is actually a caldera lake formed by an eruption comparable to the one that destroyed Krakatoa. This eruption drained so much of the underlying magma chamber that the void left behind caused the overlying rock to collapse downward, leaving a crater that filled with water to form the lake present there today. The original volcano includes all the land sloping away from that large lake as well and was taller and larger than Pinatubo.

    A little context about Fadiouth:
Muslims are prohibited from praying in graveyards. I'm absolutely not an expert, but I would estimate they didn't want to risk the prayers of every single ummati being invalidated by technically praying in a graveyard- so building the second island was a way to eliminate that risk while accommodating community members of all faiths who pass.
A really ingenious solution, if this was indeed the reason 👏🙏

Just because someone says something you yourself do not believe is true does not MAKE IT A THOERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such closed minded people are being put in their place right now with all the CONSPIRACY THEORIES that are coming out now to be TRUE! So hence "WAS NEVER A THEORY!"

The geography is all wrong here!
2:56 Island? Isn't that an "Eye Land?"
4:01 Cat Island off the coast of Japan? Isn't that really off the coast of California? CATalina Island?
5:22 Fadiouth Island in Senegal? Where the "entire island is built upon millions upon billions of shales." Senegal? Isn't this really Seychelles?
6:43 Pig Beach? In the Bahamas? About 240 miles south of there in Cuba it is probably more accurate. The Bay of Pigs!
9:37 I see nothing "crabby" about Christmas Island, a place that obviously gives everyone the red carpet treatment!
9:52 Who would want to climb high on a structure that calls itself "I Fell Tower?"
11:25 And this segment is Taal Volcano? Well this neighbor, this lil guy seems so vertically challenged. I guess that's what happens when you keep blowing your stack. I've actually been to this one many years ago.
11:50 -See number one above, another eye land.
12:04 Ramree Island I presume has no rams, and Crocodile Island in the Philippines has no crocs, but still.
    15:02 Wonderland? Like in Alice?
15:30 Sable Island? Canada? With its history of causing shipwrecks one may go to a place much more soothing and peaceful...the "horse latitudes" near the equator.
