I think the sound is perfect especially when you consider what happens when Black Flash appears. It's said that Black Flash causes a spacial and temporal distortion to the are around and I think this sound perfectly incapsulates that effect

I'm seeing a lot of comments saying that the bass/futuristic sound of the attack is robotic and doesn't sound raw - So yes, I can understand wanting a punch to sound like a strong punch, but this isn't /just/ a strong punch. You can literally see black lightning shooting out in every direction, red energy spiking with ground breaking amounts of force. Also, considering the music, date, and types of attacks that occur within the series, an electric/robotic sound design is more than acceptable - In fact, looking at Gojo's theme it's practically almost dubstep with how much synthesized sound there is. TL;DR, it sounds good and fits the series, and it releases the endorphins in my brain. Good work sleep
Spectacular re-sound! Love how the electricity has a softened, chorus filter feel to it. The higher frequencies are still there to add sharpness, but it's not overpowering noise across the board. The risers and tasteful application of clipping compliment this scene really well too. I've got a lot to learn.

the black flash is inspired by the -boxing lobster(i think thats the name)- mantis shrimp effect when it punches the water around boils. so this is a good redesign.
I think it was pistol shrimp, it uses it's claw like a pistol (Pretty sure that is how it got its name). And for a brief moment, when the pistol shrimp shoots, the water around it can reach up to 4000 degrees Celsius. I'm guessing the prey get stunned by this rapid change in temperature. Edit: after searching up about the mantis shrimp, yeah. I was wrong.

They need to remake the scene and use this on the Blu-Ray, that was so fucking good lol. The distortion on Yuji’s voice as the impact built up was unbelievable and made that scream he let out as he blew Mahito away SO much more impactful.

Sound effects remind me a lot of David Productions. Especially the build up before the punch kinda (by kinda I mean just a lil bit) reminded me of Golden Experience Requiem's punch before it beatdown Diavolo. And the bass is just pure eargasm. 10/10
I think i prefer the og one. black flash is almost an impossiblity, and i think the shattering effect captuures it the best. it kinda reminds me of a sonic boom, a reaction by reality when it's limits are being tested.
