Sooooo glad Jada gave this interview.
I’m a true fan that got the book and is listening to the audiobook with her actually reading it, which makes it an absolute gem!
I knew she took the beating from the public for her family…that’s what we do! Will’s business was out there too, but some chose to focus on her. They didn’t know what an entanglement meant and chose to make it worse than it was.
    I celebrate this sage!
I love them all! They’re ours, and I love them!

Thank you Jada for continuing to speak. I am utterly shocked that people will jump on the bandwagon of expressing such hatred for someone they don’t even know. Being a black woman isn’t easy and being a black female celebrity isn’t easy at all! I believe that jealousy can make people hate people for no reason, and attribute blame recklessly. Why does there always have to be a scapegoat in life… The level of ignorance is incredible… I mean how can one woman be responsible for the downfall of her husbands career. This is so stupid. For one, Wills career isnt over and actors and actresses (both white and black) are always subject to a period of black balling from the industry at some point in their career. Words have power, and it is the public that is trying to ruin Wills career through suggestion (suggestive language).
How people can blame a person for rolling their eyes and stating this was the factor for her partner slapping another man. People need to wake up. People are responsible and accountable for their individual actions and there is so much more we will never know about the marriage and the slap because it is none of our business.
Furthermore, sometimes the reason may be deeper that our shallow imagination. Recap this is a couple that has spoken up against racism in the industry and tried to promote equality for all. It is a lot deeper that we will ever know.
Also in life, women are always blamed for anything and everything ((more so for black women) and the onslaught in this situation is very concerning, constituting bullying and harassment at the very least.
Please mute comments that are vile and have nothing to do with this book review. Celebrities are entitled to be safeguarded from crazy people who take out their own frustrations on celebrities.

Bought and read. It is masterfully written. She has done what 98% of people are too afraid to do. Now I understand what Iyanla means when she talks about 'doing the work'. Even I cannot see myself being as open. One half of me is so appreciative of her sharing all the painful, grimy, uncomfortable, HARD things and flaws; the other half paradoxically wishes she did not share it all. If most couples tried to do what she and Will have done, most divorces would be averted. Healthy marriage takes work. All in all, it is a rare diamond of a book. One step at a time Jada, daily. Much respect to her and Will. I pray they both keep healing, growing and more than anything, flourish more than they've ever done.

She wrote this book with the approval of her husband , kids and family.
People jumped on the things they disapproved of and used that for clickbait.
Many upset because she invoked Tupac’s name and the love they had for each other as friends since childhood. They were angered because they felt she emasculated Will.
Both of these men considered her a friend and one as a lover. And that ticked people off.
But this book has more to do with mental health and self worth.
Now that you know she’s been separated from Will living separately seeing other people her relationship with August was not an illicit affair but what men have with younger women all the time. It was Will’s choice to sit with Jada while she spoke of her entanglement but he knew about it and he was there to support her, his tears was because he felt bad she had to explain herself to people.
The only people didn’t know what was happening in this relationship was us and we can see y’all was mad as hell they didn’t let y’all know. I’m not a big fan of Jada, but sometimes you gotta listen to understand not to comment.

These uses of “energy”, “healing” etc. Are getting out of hand. Ask a war veteran what healing ❤️‍🩹 really is…
    But good entertainment though’
