Bro I'm 24 an when I was 18 I thought that 09_13 were the best years but honestly 15- to now have been amazing it's all perspective tou still got amazing years to come
I went through an incredibly painful breakup about seven months back, myself, and it still gets me down pretty often. Really shortly after it happened I was kinda consoling myself by rewatching this series called Bored To Death (highly recommended) which, funnily enough, opens with the protagonist getting his heart broken. In one of the earlier episodes another character, who's thanking him for his help with something, says something that I still think about: "I hope your heart is broken many times, because it means you will have loved many times." Keep your head up, young blood. So long as there's breath in your lungs, the chance to have that happiness again is always there.
Hey, keep your head up man. Something you gotta understand is that life is always gonna put challenges in front of you. You're gonna have good times and you're gonna have pain too. That will never change, but what can change is how you deal with the pain. You gotta grow from your pain and turn it into a positive. Those hard times make you stronger. It also may help you to know that everyone experiences pain in life. No one is immune to it. People who have been through it, grown from it, and made themselves better as a result, are the kind of people you wanna surround yourself with. And, if you're 18 years old, I promise you this; your best days are ahead of you. Find a skill that you love and master it. Also, find a skill that you don't necessarily love, but that you know is good for you, either physically or mentally, and master it. This practice will help you gain self respect and give you a sense of self confidence that will be unbreakable, not matter what life throws at you. Keep pushing on young blood.

Nature is complicated and unforgiving enough without the petty squabbles of humans littering the surface. Peace to you all, we will get through this. On the other end lies a better, more tempered humanity. We can do this.
