Is it crazy to think that half of the 9 shots DeRozan needs can come from him taking the shots Fox has been forced to take under desperation because he was the “only” option on the floor.? (When Monk is on the bench) Increased efficiency for Fox on the nights he has been forced to find it.
More than that.. everyone was hurt on the bulls last year, actually most of the time he was with the bulls.. I think he drops to 14-15 shots a game. People also forget to think about the fact that there were guys who maybe shouldn’t have taken as many shots but did out of necessity.. Demar won’t average 24 here.. but 18-20 sure.
I feel like ham over exaggerates a lot of things. Like saying Derozan is taking 20 offensive shots/plays from other teammates. I also think Derozan realizes he’s coming into a winning culture compared to the bulls. I don’t think Derozan is gonna be putting up the same shots as when he was really the main player on the team. Like Fox, Fox isn’t gonna be putting up the same amount of shots he had to do last year , and I mean when monk and huerter went down because that’s the amount of shots Derozan took with the bulls with the players Derozan had around him
James is a great guy with some really good skills. However he is a pessimist and often expects the worst. Sean is more uplifting. Brenden might not have as much experience but he is moving in the right direction. The 3 of you together are a pretty good balance just wish James would be just a little more optimistic and uplifting. Let his hair down 🥰🥰
