The law and the prophets were foreshadowing The Messiah. Take note of the conjunction "Till" (up to the point in time or the event mentioned). So up to what point in time will the law pass? (serve its purpose?). Answer: Till all is fulfilled. And Luke24:44 opens up our minds that, the law and the prophets and Psalms have been fulfilled concerning Jesus (meaning, the law, prophet and Psalms of the old testament have served their purpose) They have been fulfilled after Christ resurrected. There were 600+ laws so why talking about only the 10? Have You been able to follow the other laws? If not, then you are guilty of all. And where is the death penalty when one disobey the Sabbath?(Numbers 15:32).
