i know he’s not the most known celebrity, but he is my absolute idol. i had my hair cut like his, even. and i’m a girl! he is just so gorgeous and i adore him so much. also, i absolutely love his book. it is one of my greatest dreams to meet him 😍
Very cool interview. He is my favorite Pulp member. His contributions added so much to the group. Was gutted when I realized he was in the lineup when I saw them live on 2012.
He seems like a nice bloke. I agree with what he says about people should be banned from a stage once they are 40. I recognise his voice from early Pulp songs.
i think i like the fact that he's so serious but i hate it at the same time.this guy has an AMAZING voice..stunned when i first heard him in freaks album ..i love jarvis but i cant imagine how pulp would be with him lead singing..it would be magic.. his vocals are crRaazy.they could have more songs with him singing though..why didnt theyyyy
He's a thoughtful and pleasant individual. Was very glad to see he was there for their farewell shows. Reading 2011 was one of the best performances I've never been to but watch on film all the time. He's a great musician and contributed so much to the British music canvas. Wish there was more of this.
I'm glad he carried on with his creative energy and pursuits. Venini were interesting and he's been instrumental in producing bands that definitely deserved to be cultivated and brought into the light. He was just as much of a creative force as Jarvis in creating and shaping Pulp's music and aesthetics. No hate to Jarvis but I can see how the climate change fame seemed to foster could have pushed Russell away. That's a lengthy labor of love just to begin to be treated like a backup musician. I don't necessarily think the fans thought that way but the industry has this sort of self fulfilling social phenomena, I suppose. Lol back in the day, everyone had a crush on Jarvis but I just wanted a wrestling match with Russell 😊

his book is great, by the way, i highly recommend it to everyone.
Just finished reading his book.... One of the best written and most witty music books I've read

The shrill, screeching sound of the door, as he says: "best be quiet, they might be recording"
i love him so much
He seems like a really nice guy.
1:25 Pulp did "Party Hard" after he left! That's not him in the video
you're soooo right
it is posted in 2012 how can it be 240P?!
