Engine sounds STRONG! I don't think Joey let off but maybe once or twice to stay off the marbles during qualifying or the heat race... So the gearing is right.. you are running at the edge of tire grip.. so the setup is right.. He's hooked up on top for the heat so I dunno why he chose to run low in the feature.. He got the jump both times.. Traffic forced him to get out of it a few times but running low in traffic seemed like a bad idea.. Great season guys.. Great hustle with the busted shock mount. Great team.

I agree, been watching since day one, but definitely don’t understand his thinking, win the heat going away, but drop to the bottom let everyone pass in the feature, every time! Disappointing for sure!!!!

People make comments, because HTF is their Team, And JJ, is Their Driver. We want so bad for our driver to win. So when anyone comments about Not Winning, it truly is because We Want You To Win. Imagine if not one person commented. HTF may not be the Channel they are, or TH-cams algorithm would never put them in front of more people. I have my own advice, and my own “this is what you need to do” thoughts and comments. This HTF Team will figure it out at some point. I will be watching and buying Merch no matter what. Will still comment and attempt to be supportive. Head Up, and Head On HTF.

Going from 1st to 5th in one lap isn't easy with air in all 4 tires and the engine still running that's quite an accomplishment
Scared to stick the nose in there. Get off that dang bottom. Qualify and wins the heat on the top but wants to race the bottom.

48 was spun out before the 10 got there,seems the 10 car barely made it through before the 48 came down in front of him. Got lucky that he only broke a shock. These HTF guys have figured out how to quit their jobs and race full time and ALL the haters come out of the wood work, unbelievable. Keep doing you while you can guys!!! F**k the haters
Definitely on Moyer, any driver would have taken that gap. Moyer just decided he was going to force his way back low so he didn’t lose spots and it was too late. He knew someone was there and if he didn’t he might not need to be racing anymore
the 10 car looks a lot stronger on the high side, always. dont know why they ran the bottom, but great effort to come back to 8th after the repairs. pit crew hustled!
BOTTOM FEEDER! It’s because of intimidation and knowing he’s not close to running with the big boys so it’s easier to just stick it to the bottom and ride.
If you noticed the leaders were also on the bottom. The top went away it looked like.

Good finishes on both races the car look good with a new motor in it and I think y'all will do a whole lot better you just got to get used to the motor good job on your knife price finish on night one and night to moving all the way up to 8 finish good job

It was some shenanigans in the pits. Tempers get high. People let off steam. It’s just racing.
I have a question..is running the inside lane at all the corners the best use of the Clements power and torque curve? It seems the leaders were in a higher groove. I am asking because I don't see how you get skunked to 4th in the first few laps unless you are not pulling HP or torque to match others. This is not a criticism..just a question seeking a knowledgeable answer
Its a bunch of stuff that adds up!! Tire choice, air psi, bar angle, shock and spring set!!!
The track also changes alot in a short amount of time!!! Something small adds up quick!!!

Well some tracks don’t need a 410 or a 430 so when you destroke a motor rpm’s will be there faster in the PowerPoint now you cannot make it a wide bore but you can up date the old motors with new heads intake
I wish you guys woulda put the putnam and moyer sr stuff in but i cant say i blame yah as you guys for business reasons need to keep everything chill....thats the stuff that makes this real though.

And that pit kept it from being junk with a motor!

To be fair “most” of the best in the world are racing WoO and Lucas Oil. That was a pretty good field but that’s nowhere near the best in the world in overall lineup

Now we're talkin' ! ! Took advantage of a good start position in the Heat. Threw away the Pole in the Main - but rebounded for a Top 10. Best of all, the car was hooked up and the right rear was workin'. Excellent pit work. Best night in weeks. Maybe the Racin' God are gonna go pee on somebody else's BBQ for awhile.
Great recovery HTF Crew. You may have cleared more in the trailer, but sponsors don’t pay money to have their car locked in the trailer. Changing the shock mount and driving hard was the right call.

Yes Moyer Sr slid high and opened the door and any driver would have taken that hole but then Moyer Sr acted like Joiner was never there and decided he wanted the middle and bottom groove🤷🏻♂️

The 48 has no one to blame but himself. The 10 was as low as he could get the 48 washed up and about spun himself out. He comes down trying to save it and gets his nose run over. Nothing the 10 could do. Maybe the 48 could have straightened it out instead of trying to turn down. Racing deal...

You don't have a clue what your talking about and the Draime is ancient technology and isn't able to be updated to be to a wide bore and by the way I have no clue why you would destroke a late model engine (or any engine) these motors aren't street stock motors.

Lost ground by missing the turn on 1st lap (as in he left room on the bottom) and the 3rd or 4th lap. Not sure on second question.

It's all about set up so you grip and the car will rotate like it suppose to. Track changed on him. And the bottom is probably where he cab grip
For the first question for the couple of years that I've been watching I don't think he's a fan of settings the pace on a long race but for the second question the whole reason for a big motor is to run the top

Looks like those Longhorns of theirs run equal to their Capitals..no difference in the finishing order..great crew work though..Jonathan is all about that merchandise sells..He should do two videos, one on merchandise and one about the actual race..
