When the podcast started, and I got the gist of what the story was about, I honestly almost turned it off. I thought, this is not how I want to start my Monday morning. But for some reason I did not turn it off, and I cannot tell you how glad I am that I didn’t.
The story was genuine and impactful, processing some really great thoughtfulness. I love the 90 year old going back in the time machine, and the looking back on the nostalgic moments in our life. Time is so precious. Thank you for the reminder.

I like the part where they’re talking about incentives and the host is sitting there with a bunch of his supplements he sells in the background LOL

I have been on the planet since 1960 and would not choose 2023 as the best time to be alive. Give me the 70s when people were not so uptight and insecure, politics was civil, honesty was a shared value, mellow peaceniks were cool and nasty warriors were not, and population was manageable. I was living in Southern California then...

I never go on social media. Instead I read history books (and philosophy and literature). Compare yourself to 19th Century life (or earlier) and you'll never feel poor believe me! I simply cannot believe that people are so shallow and empty that they feel sad because they don't have a bigger house or a fancier car. Do people really compare themselves to others? Why would you do that I wonder? The ... The key to being happy is impressing other people?!?! That is pathetic.
