This was incredibly easy to follow through and I had no trouble recreating the steps. Thank you so much for your clear instructions! How do you tie the excess laces to have a tight feel?
It did work BUT I don’t have enough shoe lace to tie it on one of the sides?? I tried tightening it to get more but it did not work with how it was laced :(
Hi, was one end of the lace a lot longer than the other? If so, could you undo all the lacing and start again? Perhaps it'll give you an even amount of lace left over to tie, at both ends of the lace. Hope that works 🙏
I agree. I always think it's a bit of an awkward style to wear on high tops because the top of the shoe opens up as you wear the style leaving the shoe stretched out. A star lace doesn't use enough of the eyelets to hold the shoe together.
Thank you so much for actually teaching me how to do it, rather than showing me that you know how to do it and racing through.😊
@@peggyoneil2458 Aw, you're welcome! I'm so glad to know it was helpful 😁

Thank you - good to know it was helpful ☺I tie the ends of the laces behind the tongue, with a double knot - with the shoes on my feet.
@@ShoeDIY Okay, thank you!
THIS HELPED SO MUCH THANK YOUUUU
I'm going to try this on my new converse i bought today! YAY!!!
Good
I'm glad you liked it! 😁
yeah i bet that extra lace is real uncomfortable in your shoe but besides that thanjs this helped a lot
If you flatten it out across the top of your foot, it should be ok. I've worn this style and it was fine.
Thank u very much ❤

Dose this work in airfoeces
Hi, you can star lace your AF1s but you might need to adapt the style slightly, depending on the number of lace holes your AF1s have.
TYSM!!!
