Finally someone reacted to this series of concerts, and this concert in particular. This is is one of the best concerts and also one of the best recordings. "Gothic meets klassik" has been around since 2012 in my hometown Leipzig, the "world capital of goth". Each year, three bands perform a normal set in a historical concert venue and then next evening with orchestra in the concert hall. In 2013, this was the opener. You might also want to try out "See you soon" (grab tissues!) and the final , "Credo". I also recommend the recording of the classic/unplugged performance with the "Lord of the Lost Ensemble" at M'era Luna (forgot the year).
I love this recording, have it seen so often. And still I always think: Oh Bo Six, oh Disco. I loved these guys and I love the current ones. Every song of the set is awesome. „Never Let You Go“ has a beautiful duet with Ulrike Goldman from „Blutengel“.
Again, two genres that you wouldn't think would go together. But they do. Reminds me a bit of Rock Meets Classic. Rock Meets Classic is a concert series that has been held regularly once a year since 2010, mainly in Germany. A symphony orchestra and a rock band play hits from rock history. We have seen a few of these concerts and experienced such rock giants as Gianna Nannini, Alice Cooper, Eric Bazilian (The Hooters) and Uriah Heep. Great suggestion. I have never heard Lord of the Lost like that. Thank you!
Thanks guys. You had quite a smile on your face there, Mike. I just love this version even more that the original. Just something about it. Chris Harms has been playing the cello since he was 5 years old.
You are always positive aren’t you 😋💞 unlike me, that’s why it’s good to have you as a friend 😋 Ok gonna listen to this song again, I love this one 🥰 can’t wait to see what M&G think of this masterpiece 🥰
Ginger, you look só beautiful today! Real classy and timeless. The salm pink compliments your skin tone. You must wear this color (and dress) more often!
I hionestly don't know the original, but if it's Gothic Metal, I can imagine how it would sound. I wish more metal bands would collaborate with a classical orchestra and make similar versions of their songs... Metallica did such a project twice and it was great ! And I'm sure a lot of other metal bands' songs would sound even better than the original. Greetings from Germany to Canada : Gerry
Their symphonic albums are amazing , and this concert specially .
Yeah super good listened to it so many times

Chris is a multi instrumentalist and as producer for other artists he often plays various instruments in the studio.
There’s something about when metal and orchestra mixed together that really sounds so good. Loved it. ❤️🤘🇦🇺
The ultimate blend between gothic rock metal and an operatic & symphonic classical orchestra.
"One day everything will be okay" is my favourite

I’ve heard the Metallica one, and it was great! Thanks Gerry - G
I like the music, but I'm not taken with his voice, though it does remind me of Fields of the Nephilim.
Sorry, no Darth Vader, Epica does the BATTLE OF THE HEROES AND THE IMPERIAL MARCH. HA HA
why don't they post Noidz's group, song " Estranha forma de vida"😁🥰😘
