I believe you should be able to change the preset colors, patterns, and finishes for all items, floor, amd walls. I think from the color pallet on the right center. So the flooring main selection is cool tone or warm tone then you can select a color family like red, blue, green, white etc.
13:27 the reason people choose carpet over hard wood is couse its easier to keep the house warm. I also prefer plywood walls instead of drywall and and also wall paper. Wallpaper just doesn't last
