No,not good, the coin cell will go dead in a few days; a CR 2032 only has 100mAh; 12 small leds like that consume ~~ 12 x 5 mA, or 60 mA; so,i'll rephrase that,the coin cell will only last a couple of hours.; (they can last 10 years in a watch,because it only consumes in the micro Amp range).

You can directly light up the LEDs from the AC source by little modification to the LED circuit. Use a low value capacitor such as 0.22uF in series of all LEDs. You can eliminate the DC components by connecting two LEDs in parallel (forward and reverse). This arrangement doesn't require too many components and requires least energy.🙏
@@Vaibhav.R.Sutar45 why not? Upto 25 LEDs can be connected in series. It's even better if you use bridge rectifier by using 4 diodes. A 100uF 160 volts capacitor in parallel to LEDs to reduce flicker in LEDs. Use 0.47uf Capacitor in series with bridge rectifier at input.
@@Dave_en actually I have 0.22uF 400v capacitor and I am connecting 12 led of 3v, 0.020A in series therefore output voltage becomes 12×3=36v. So can I make 36v with 0.22uF capacitor?

If you connect two leds in parallel in opposite polarity, it will give reverse voltage protection to each other. Connect 6 of such pairs in series and use a 0.22uf capacitor in series of the LED circuit. It will be enough. No need to check voltages.
I don't understand,this only leds or with night sensing,why so many holes,I have metal clock,I used rgb led strip with rf remote,and also attached speaking time and striking options kept,also for night sensing of voice (clap switch),&sweep movement for clock,all works good with 12v house wired dc,I also want to upgrade it light in needles only but it's too complicated, waiting for an idea,I can post photos if any body don't trust give email
They should just make all clock faces opaque... So that you can just put any source in the back and have it glow. Having these bright, glaring LED lights exposed in the front like this so when you look at it is too much. I'd much rather have a soft warm glow across the whole face. Not all these points of light. Or if you're going to put these LEDs put them up near the top, bottom and edge of the face. So they're not shining directly outward.
My friend idea is nice, but without explanation if you're keep on doing your work, who can understand listening background music??? If you're doing any Videos for public good, do it in sensible manner
