I have been waiting for this one! And it has surpassed my expectations! Thanks, Daniel, for another interesting Brookfield video. It is probably overly bullish but it still sounds really hopeful and profitable!
I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown
No doubt, having the right plan is invaluable, my portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit 100% rise from early last year. I and my CFP are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take till Q3 2024.
Since the debt crisis could unleash carnage on the stock market leading to economic downturns. We need to be prepared for potential market volatility. how can I secure my $80K stock portfolio against declining?
It's a good idea to seek advice at the moment, unless you're an expert yourself. As someone who runs a service business and sells products on eBay, I can tell you that the economy is struggling and many people are struggling financially.
you are completely right, Advisors have information and paths that are not disclosed to the public.. I profited $560k in 2023 under the tutelage of my Fiduciary-counselor. Am I selling? Absolutely not.. I am going to sit back and observe how this all plays out.
talking about coaching, do u consider anyone worthy for recommendations? I have about 80k to taste the waters now that large cap stocks are at a discount... thanks
Finding financial advisors like Melissa Terri Swayne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
Too good to be true? It’s an investor presentation, so they can put whatever they want. But BN and BAM have an important position in my portfolio. Thank you Daniel for the research work.
After watching this video, a lot of things now make sense to me. However, I have questions regarding sizing into a trade and also ETF/Digital assets portfolio management. Often times I see myself sizing in when my pre-determined zone is met but I’m unsure what has the best potential: going with a full size order or sizing more as my the price extends further into my zone. And how are people making $450K already in this first half of the year? Sometimes the psychological part of this is the most difficult!
Mostly based on your comfort level with risk. Better off sizing in when things go your way when trading an account with mini futures or high leverage. In this manner, your initial stop loss is still a respectable one. However, if you trade micros or with minimal leverage, you might as well start at "full size." Although it increases the win percentage, micros still have a stop loss that is not very near to the entrance. IMHO. For your own convenience, I would advise you to seek professional advice.
I agree, and for that reason I prefer to have a financial consultant make my day-to-day investment decisions. Given that their entire skill set is based on going long and short at the same time as well as employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's nearly impossible to not out-perform. I've been using a financial consultant for over two years and I've already seen positive.

We all have biases and as Charlie Munger famously said, only the foolish ignore them. My issue with Brookfield is its obscurity. The sales pitch their boosters gave you is nice. But when you consider how difficult they make it to research their fundamentals, it raises red flags. Why are they so averse to transparency?
That’s the reason why BN is in my top 3, but not my #1. I take their calculation of value per share with a *massive* pinch of salt. It has to be said though, they have consistently realized huge profits from recycling assets purchased in the past, and they’ve also increased their dividend every year consistently (BN/BAM/BIP/BEP), and that’s *real* money coming in and out - you can’t fake that.
It’s my biggest position as well, and I’d say that this is my only concern. But given that they operate in a western market with stronger business regulations than anywhere else in the world it’s a risk I’m willing to take for the performance. In fact I’d wager they use the obscurity to cut corners wherever they can.
Yes, I sold it due to not clear accountability matrix. Also next year the projection of EPS was CAGR 20% and current EPS growth is 10%. Good growth for a big cap but not according to company goals and investor expectation. In my opinion , Too much recommendation for a single person.
Hi Daniel, are you as well invested in bam or strictly bn? Before had taken a look at bn though never bought, I do own small positions in 😊bam, bep, bip. Thanks!

I firmly believe that investors should maximize their capital's potential by keeping it invested, particularly in 2024, when market diversification is expected to increase. My plan is to allocate $350,000 of my savings into the stock market next year, with the ambitious goal of generating substantial returns and potentially reaching millions in 2024.

I've owned NVDA for over 8 years. It's been up and down, but I believe in Jensen Huang and will stick with NVDA until Jensen says otherwise. I know that sounds crazy, but when the financial statements/Jensen, (same to me) tell me to sell, I will. I'm sure I won't sell at the top, but that's OK.
Kept $105k in CIT Bank HYSA at 5.05% but i now plan to invest in the stock market. What are your thoughts on that? What stocks should I look out for as a newbie to safely grow my money?
Apt!! I was self-managing my portfolio but suffered heavy losses in 2022 and i knew i couldn't continue like that, so i consulted a fiduciary advisor. By restructuring and diversifying my $1.2M portfolio with dividend-paying stocks, ETFs, Mutual funds and REITs, I significantly boosted my portfolio, achieving an annualized gain of 28%.
I regret selling stocks 2021 and my strategy ever since has been pretty much buying Gold and silver to protect my wealth but if I could come up with a way to profit from this bull run, that would be brilliant. I've missed so much already. can you share more info?

Hey Daniel first of all congrats for the channel, great content here , thank you very much for all this ! I am also a Brookfield investor, just one question please. You know for sure that Howard Mark's Oaktree Capital Management company is owned 65% by Brookfield. I own RWAY Runway Corp Finance stocks too, and I've seen that Brookfield ( the biggest shareholder by far even now ) has been selling in the las year or less around half of all shares, they passed from around 50 something percent of the company to around 27 per cent now. Do you have any info about this big movements ? Thank you so much for such great value videos
Thanks for the info! It's had a crazy run up. I think the fact that it is shifting its focus is somewhat of an unknown/risk. The thesis of batteries and nuclear seems good, but who knows. I keep adding but somewhat tentatively. Need to price in some room for error. That 30 year comparison slide is pretty nuts though!
Is PE Ratio at 80 too expensive? What would be the forward PE ratio? Even the EPS increases by 4 times, the PE Ratio is still 20 at this price. Why is this stock traded at such premium? Could somebody please explain this to me?
You need to value BN using sum of their parts in other divisions that are publicly trading and their estimated Investments both Private and non US based . Quite difficult to follow , too many moving parts to be honest .
Using PE on asset heavy companies shows you are VERY uneducated on some very basic accounting. Earnings are just ways to account for 'paper profits', which are heavily influenced by depreciation and marked to market accounting (large impact to their large public equity holdings). Their assets likely use a 15 - 25 year depreciation schedule (pipelines, power plants, RE, etc.) but these are paper losses as these assets actually grow in value over time. So where a negative earnings due to depreciation will show up in their PE multiple the 'actual' impact to the growing value of these underlying assets would understate their actual adjusted earnings multiple (FCF). Take an accounting class before putting any more of your hard earned cash into individual stocks. Just buy low cost ETFs until you understand basic accounting. I mean no disrespect but using PE multiples are novice and uneducated...unless you are evaluating OPERATING COMPANIES, where ACTUAL depreciation and amortization match their maintenance CAPEX annual spend and you have no reason to Capitalize their R&D expenses. Using PE makes you sound like a child who plays the children's game "Operation" and then turns around to a dean of medicine and asks about their OR prodecures.
There's an infinite amount of ways, not a helpful answer but it's the truth. Best example I can think of is Tesla. Some people say it's a car company, they run away from the stock screaming. Low margins, high capex, intermittent sales, reliant on interest rates. GROSS. Some people see Tesla as a software company that uses the car as a jumping off point and they bid the stock up in hopes of full self driving, robotaxi etc. this would be a subscription model, high margins, dominate moat business. Hence why tesla has analyst estimates from 8$ to Kathy woods 8000 or whatever she has. The future is unknown, stocks are hard
The Market have been suffering over the past month, with all the three indexes recording losses in recent weeks. My $400,000 portfolio is down by approximately 20%, any recommendations to scale up my returns before retirement will be highly appreciated.
Find stocks with market-beating yields and shares that at least keep pace with the market for a long term. For a successful long-term strategy I recommend you seek the guidance a broker or financial advisor.
How can one find a verifiable financial planner? I would not mind looking up the professional that helped you. I will be retiring in two years and I might need some management on my much larger portfolio. Don't want to take any chances.
He should use his commom method to evaluate BN on FCF ratio, otherwise, it is not fair for the other companies. I consider this is just a paid advertisement.
that debt is not corporate level but includes ALL debt on their assets, nearly all is non-recourse the corporation (asset level only) and most of that is also not their liabilities but those of the funds, which they are minority invesetors.
When you are talking about a larger position, how large of a position would you consider making it? It started out as a full position for me and it has grown 50% since starting it 18 months ago. Personally, I'm uncomfortable going any higher unless it crashes back down to stupidly cheap levels in the lower 30s.
Current FCF yield -6%😬and highest PE at 76? Very bullish estimates and projections, as of right now current numbers say this company is NOT priced as “cheap”
Someone else said this, but I’m also a heavy shareholder. It’s my biggest position as well. I think it’s because they’re too complicated and obscure. It’s very difficult to get clear information on all their moving parts. At some point people just don’t want to take a chance on something they don’t understand. At worst, it could be a fraud somehow. Personally I’m willing to take the chance considering their track record. I don’t think there are many teams this motivated and talented.

I'm curious, for someone with less than $150K to invest, how would you recommend we enter the market? I am open to study some traders and copy their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What's your take on this approach?
Investing in stocks can be wise with a reliable trading system. Focus on learning when to buy and sell to minimize losses and maximize profits, but financial advisors have a lot more knowledge and expertise in this area.
You're right! In light of individual experience working with a financial adviser, I presently have over $1m in a very much enhanced portfolio that has encountered dramatic development, you also need to be knowledgeable, persistent, and have strong hands to support your investment

5 yr performance history looks anemic. 5 yr total compounded stock performance of 37% (S&P500 is 87%). Only a couple wks ago regained the pre-Covid 2020 stock level. Still about 20% below the 2021 high. A solid 24 months of stock decline and stagnation from late 2021 to late 2023.
They have an 89.21% 5 year return. Beating the market yet again. Not to mention they're a byy and hold long term stock that over the long term damn near has doubled the market. FOR DECADES. It 's silly to even bring up short term things for the market anyway when it's a long term investment anyway. Either it beats it though.
I know this company is very respected, the management team is phenomenal and it has a long history of success. But I might as well be a 1st grader in a quantum mechanics course. I dont understand how to value a company like this and i don't like taking managements word about what they're worth. Something about it doesnt sit right with me, i could just be stupid though
I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Katherine Stewart.

Half of the commenters here should take 2-3 college level accounting and finance classes before investing in individual stocks I dont mean that as an insult, but stay within your circle of competence. ETF investing is highly profitable Individual stocks require special understanding of each line item and how to interpret notes to the financial statements, its not interesting or necessary for everyone

Thanks a lot for this suggestion. I needed this myself, I looked her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
Hi. Do we split BAM and BN 50/50 or is BN the better play? Not interested in divvys.
You only need BN as BN in any case owns 70% if BAM.
@@jpcsfp BN if dividends aren’t your thing.
Good Video, thanks :) but as the liabilities are high, why dont you Take the Enterprise value instead of the marcet cap, regarding valuation? 🤔
Does the huge amount of dept BN owes scare you ?
Thanks for the update on BAM, once again! What are some components of the BAM stock that's causing a pretty low insight's score of 2.74?
You mean bn?😊
Is PE Ratio at 80 too expensive? What would be the forward PE ratio? Even the EPS increases by 4 times, the PE Ratio is still 20 at this price. Why is this stock traded at such premium? Could somebody please explain this to me?
You need to value BN using sum of their parts in other divisions that are publicly trading and their estimated Investments both Private and non US based . Quite difficult to follow , too many moving parts to be honest .
PE means nothing for BN
BN is valued on its DE just like REITs are valued on the FFO.
You don't base alll stocks on the same metrics. BN is a DE company.
why the P/E is 80 ?
Why the insight score so low on stockunlock then?
So is Brookfield a growth stock? Trying to figure out where and how much in my portfolio
And, how do you consider the 200B debt of this company? And the ROIC < 3 in the last 5 years? And PE > 50 ? And the negative FCF TTM?
Dan, how about Markel Group as a BN alternstive at a cheaper price?
What about Brookfield renewables, why is it not talked about here?
Infratil (Nz) infrastructure investor has exceeded the 30 year Brookfield returns - just saying … airports, data centres, power companies, etc
Newbie question here... How can you evaluate at what rate the company will be compounding?
This company has high debt. Is this standard operating procedure for Asset Managers?
The Market have been suffering over the past month, with all the three indexes recording losses in recent weeks. My $400,000 portfolio is down by approximately 20%, any recommendations to scale up my returns before retirement will be highly appreciated.
Find stocks with market-beating yields and shares that at least keep pace with the market for a long term. For a successful long-term strategy I recommend you seek the guidance a broker or financial advisor.
I agree, since i begin using an advisor my profit have been quite consistent, regardless of market situation...
How can one find a verifiable financial planner? I would not mind looking up the professional that helped you. I will be retiring in two years and I might need some management on my much larger portfolio. Don't want to take any chances.
I use Svetlana Sarkisian Chowdhury You may have heard of her
Thank you for this amazing tip. I just looked the name up, wrote her explaining my financial market goals and scheduled a call.
I bought all brookfield stocks. Bam is my biggest position
A lot of energy companies are lsoig. Money now due to the transition of how they source power. Also logitics business is down globally
BN long term Debt is 234 billion dollars how does that figure in you analyses?
Speculate to accumulate
He should use his commom method to evaluate BN on FCF ratio, otherwise, it is not fair for the other companies. I consider this is just a paid advertisement.
It's goes against all Dan said in his book. Red flag 😢
that debt is not corporate level but includes ALL debt on their assets, nearly all is non-recourse the corporation (asset level only) and most of that is also not their liabilities but those of the funds, which they are minority invesetors.
@@kesstonugbodu1211 its not a red flag at all
When you are talking about a larger position, how large of a position would you consider making it? It started out as a full position for me and it has grown 50% since starting it 18 months ago. Personally, I'm uncomfortable going any higher unless it crashes back down to stupidly cheap levels in the lower 30s.
Have you happened to hear yet, by chance? The Fed will begin its rate-cutting cycle at the next meeting.
what are your thoughts of brookfield owning 51% of Westinghouse?
EQB. 😊
Current FCF yield -6%😬and highest PE at 76? Very bullish estimates and projections, as of right now current numbers say this company is NOT priced as “cheap”
What about KKR is seems better investment
It seems Brookfield is at a double top and it could pull back at resistance !
I sure hope so I can buy ao.e more ob the cheap and continue on their tear that has beaten even Berkshire.
Crazy how the analyst community thinks so poorly of this stock
Someone else said this, but I’m also a heavy shareholder. It’s my biggest position as well.
I think it’s because they’re too complicated and obscure. It’s very difficult to get clear information on all their moving parts. At some point people just don’t want to take a chance on something they don’t understand. At worst, it could be a fraud somehow.
Personally I’m willing to take the chance considering their track record. I don’t think there are many teams this motivated and talented.

Put your money in an ETF and leave it. Dollar cost average in, reinvest all dividends and never sell. That's the easiest way
I'm curious, for someone with less than $150K to invest, how would you recommend we enter the market? I am open to study some traders and copy their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What's your take on this approach?
Investing in stocks can be wise with a reliable trading system. Focus on learning when to buy and sell to minimize losses and maximize profits, but financial advisors have a lot more knowledge and expertise in this area.
You're right! In light of individual experience working with a financial adviser, I presently have over $1m in a very much enhanced portfolio that has encountered dramatic development, you also need to be knowledgeable, persistent, and have strong hands to support your investment
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financlal future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success.
I've stuck with the popularly ‘’Monica Shawn Marti” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, I agree with her.
I really appreciate your useful advice. I was able to set up a call with her and confirm her identity. She seems incredibly knowledgeable, and I hope I'm able to connect with her.
Why don't you say anything about the massive 180bn debt?
Bought BEP

You trade with Katherine Stewart too? Wow that woman has been a blessing to me and my family.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
I was skeptical at first till I decided to try. Its huge returns is awesome. I can't say much.
It isnt as cheap as it seems considering 240 billion $ in longterm debt and 57 billion $ accounts payable
didn’t they just invest in Intel couple of years ago? bad move…
$40 to 45 we can buy
What do you do when you realize that Brookfield has lied to you? Berkshire for the last 30 years has the same performance as BN, just compare them in tradingview.
Half of the commenters here should take 2-3 college level accounting and finance classes before investing in individual stocks
I dont mean that as an insult, but stay within your circle of competence. ETF investing is highly profitable
Individual stocks require special understanding of each line item and how to interpret notes to the financial statements, its not interesting or necessary for everyone
I understand the bullish story of the company, but the debt, the valuation and the slimmest net margins keep me away.
Brookfield is a reasonable stock price wise but to tell the truth the stocks you remember in general cost too much
He's made over 40% fir the year. The market only made around 25%. So I'd say he is pretty on it overall.
What the hell is happening... LOOK at those comments. Its the freaking bot-pocalypse up in here.
chart looks pretty bullish right now. Please do a deeper dive into BN/ BAM acquisitions! thank you for your content!
So what are really the best strategies to make our portfolio recession proof. my wife is already panicking, so many questions! will the rate cut next month lead to inflation? I'm very worried about my $1million stock portfolio losing value. It lost 20 % today alone

How much you are getting from this company for promoting this stock. Just look at other Analysts rating .The P?E is 41 and you are recommending this. This is Chit
People who buy high price stocks usually have their own advisers. What you should concentrate on are small capital high growth stocks.

I am a Nurse and have been investing for a few years. I have reached a point where I could benefit from financial advice to improve my $200,000 portfolio for retirement, how do I maximize my ROI?
You didn't provide detailed information about your portfolio makeup. However, I recommend seeking guidance from a financial advisor for a well-informed portfolio restructuring.
Opting for an inves-tment advisr is currently the optimal approach for navigating the stock market, particularly for those nearing retirement. I've been consulting with a coach for a while, and my portfolio has surged by 85% since 2023
Pls how can I reach this expert, I need someone to help me manage my portfolio
Melissa Elise Robinson is the licensed advisor I use. Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.
Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown. its important to seek the guidance of an expert
@@purplebliss6875 A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.
