Personally, I think the Poplar package is really nice for decks with Fire lvl 1 units that want to extend. My big problem with it is that it enables actual Snake Eyes, with cards like Ash, Oak, and Flamberge which are way too good at spamming the board

Good generic searcher's without a cost should be limited one. Even cynet mining requires a discarded. Absolutely no reason to start at three unless you're want to cope on new pyro decks

All the Snake-Eye cards are still in the shop in the "Victory in Progress" reprint pack. Once that pack leaves the shop, I suspect that Snake-Eye will be receiving the Dragon Ruler treatment.
For those who weren't playing back then, Konami tried gentle hits on the ban list several times but Dragon Ruler remained tier 0 for like four formats straight. Eventually Konami straight-up banned all four of the archetype's boss monsters at once. It went from tier 0 to "completely vanished" literally overnight.
So they dropped birth over time from 3 to 2, then to 1 then said "damn maybe we fucked up" then did 1 to 2 then 2 to 3😂😂 ayoo

it's not fun to play vs kaiser colosseum but watch the opponent play 3 hour combo while u can't block him and watch again him playing in your turn then in his turn is very funny

Summon limit to 1 hurts every non meta deck. Konami really is trying to phase out everything except the super expensive meta decks.
Bonfire need to be at 1 as reinforcement of the army, their effects are similar
I am a new player for master duel and i joined right at the end of the championship. I was able to craw up to duel lvl 16 with a cheap 1 UR water xyz deck I found online. I am so glad to see Kaiser Colosseum banned because I faced off against a sky striker player using that and I was so mad. They never have more than 1 monster on field meaning that I had no way of xyz summoning the whole match. I am glad to see that card get banned.

As fun as it would have been for my Galaxy eyes deck to FTK with a turtle, it's valid that they banned it. That deck can put so much muscle on the field in a turn.
As long as floodgates keep getting hits the better for me, good banlist.

Horrible banlist. Just because stun got hit, doesn't make it good. We are still stuck in a fire format and the top decks are barely touched.
@@PersonaPrimeObviously konami is not yet gonna touched the top decks because they make money out of it, they'll get hit when Konami is ready to release a new pack with potential by hindering the previous one so don't expect fire king to get hit until konami intended to release something that sells.

You can Skip opponents turn with durendal too. I use it in my wind up deck to shuffle the hand in the deck and with protector of the sanctuary he cant draw cards. So he has no cards at beginning of his M1. I have a replay video on my channel where i used this :D

I find it a pretty OK banlist, I was just hoping that maybe they could have put the sarcophagus of horus at 2(probably the next month after that revived legion is expired)

The correct hit for horus is putting imsety to 2 or 1. Imsety is basically water enchantress while king sarc is basically rite of aramesir

@@sijackex305 horus stun literally exists which is one of the most toxic decks in the game. Then you also just have horus being a good engine for literally any deck that likes GY or free bodies

This does almost nothing. Snake-eyes, fire king, rescue ace, etc, don't even need bonfire. And catapult turtle? Really? Why can't Konami just make a list of illegal card combinations so that cards like link kuriboh, or catapult turtle apparently, can be used in decks that don't abuse it, but decks that would abuse it can't? X card cannot be used with z card or y archetype.
16:56 Nah, when casual players see summon limit or kaiser coliseum they're putting them in their deck. They're in the game as a catch-up mechanic... It's just that, when a good player uses them, it just destroys anyone else trying to play the game; as seen in the TCG. The players mainly using these cards in MD are just stun players atm... I would argue people who need to play stun, probably aren't very good at the game.
Finally the turtle is gone!!! I can't tell you how many times I've been OTKd from this card while having 0 handtraps
Well, until we have a ban list which hit Poplat I dont think the meta will change anyway, unless Konami make another deck which just make Snake-eyes seen weak.
I'm all for less floodgates in the game. Mostly slaps on the wrist outside of that. Bonfire/lifter at 2 are pretty minor consistency hits. Not rly changing anything. But Kirin getting freed up is pretty neat. Not great banlist but not bad either. Couldn't expect too much more than gradual hits like this for MD.

Still no poplar hit huh, colosseum hit is suck since I use it on my sky striker deck since released. At 1 copy I think it's fair, but I guess combo deck with bazilion summon hate that since their deck have no backrow removal
i dont understand why they keep hitting purrely. the deck i hardly see it being used, and even in the wcs qualifier round, i didn't come across one purrely deck

I don't know what Konami wants with Purrely. Every format handles the deck differently, and it genuinly does not matter what they do, the deck makes a Tower + 1, either S:P or Utopic Draco. Our kitties are a known quantity, and yet the OCG, TCG, and MD don't seem to agree at all as to what to do with it. MD pushes us to play fewer extenders, more handtraps, and go for the Enoir line, OCG wants to limit draws (And hit My Friend at 2 for... Reasons?) Pushing for the Plum line and TCG... Well TCG is slowly not giving a crap because no one is playing Purrely. I wish Konami made up their mind as to how I'm supposed to play my cats, because this is getting silly.
Master Duel probably has the worst Purrely banlist, because all it does is corner us to play more handtraps and consistency cards, into an Enoir line. It's the worst for everyone, we have to play more bullshit to meet consistency and if we land it, we still do the draw 4-6 cards into Enoir and go full combo, which in turn means we are more likekly to draw handtraps. If we fail, well, we're playing tons of handtraps because of the format, more even thanks to those semi limits to our main deck monsters.
I just want to play cute cats in a decent deck. Is this too much to ask? Probably, if the community's take on tower deck is anything to go by.

we did see those decks since they were released and almost every single one on the tier meta and literally none of the other decks got a chance to enter the meta like seriously just kill those decks already and give a chance to other deck

it does make a small difference in md imo, because part of the reason tcg can afford to play fewer cats is 3 prosp (higher consistency) and 0 maxx c (dont need normal summons that avoid an extra draw)

I think it's mainly a way to deal with Kashtira without having to hit more of their cards, heck they even brought Birth back to 3 knowing full well how screwed they are after getting their Ariseheart or Shangri-la stolen.
