I'm a union laborer and work with operators quite often. I have worked with guys that couldn't dig a somewhat smooth bottom footing or pipe trench to save there life. It's awesome when guys actually know what they are doing
Tint looks badass man! I just make the windshield match the rest! 😂 funny you have to worry about getting the truck stuck in August! It’s either muddy or powdered dry! Thanks for sharing
Wonder if this guy is married...probably not! Too much competition as much as this guy loves his job and equipment! Well admittedly that volvo is one sexy excavator! lmao
die warlock, are you five, or just have the same level of education as a five year old? There is so much grammatically wrong with your comment. I think everyone's IQ dropped 50 points just from being exposed to it.
jamesbailey1976, all it amounts to is a troll. Someone who just tries to stir people up or get look cool. I typically don't feed the trolls. But, sometimes a person just has to have their way with them. Lol. 👍
By pushing the green button you are not in 6x6 you are only locking in the diff from front to rear. The only way you can get 6x6 is to step on a button on the right side of the steering column. You have to hold the button down with your foot. When you let up on the button it will unlock. You can leave the green button in all the time and will not avect the steering. If you push the yellow button it locks the front diff axles in front left to right that will make it steering hard.
If the truck rides bad you have to match air in the front tires. There is a tire chat on LS of the frame to tell you how much air goes in the tires. I think it is 50 psi in the front and 59 psi in the rear. Don't hold me to that.
Very cool -- QUESTION -- I really like the tinted windows on the excavator. What level of tint and brand did you get? Is it ceramic tint and did you notice any interference with radios?
Chris, do you ever walk those areas you clear. You're probably walking over dozens of Indian artifacts, Points, knife blades, axes, scrapers, pottery.and a whole lot of other items. I spent man a day walking fields and river banks looking
Go ahead and tint the front window I promise you won’t have ANY problems!!!!! I have 5% on my dozer, skidsteer, tractor. On my f-350 and my Suburban I had them put 5% on sides and back then put 35% on the entire windshield. I’ve been doing that for prolly 20years now. Great videos!!! Has TH-cam helped yalls work load??
Why dont they put locking diffs in a rock truck is beyond me. Make more sense to me with the terrain they are on all the time. Or is it manual locking and didnt get locked in the first time you pushed him out? Much much better tinted!
Haul Truck sounds alot better must have replaced the injector or injectors. Or whatever was wrong with it Edit guess i shoulda watched all the way through since you mention it lol
Turn the wheel all the way to the left and all the way to the right while trying to go forward. Alot of times you can get it out its self. We get these stuck all the time.
Well I was supposed to be checking parts online but you getting stuck got more of my attention L.O.L. My guess is there's a spring where you sunk, it carried the weight most of the day but the water pumped up in the clay with every load crossing and you finally broke the surface tension of the clay. My clay hog barn floors and some spots in the yard here do that if the water table 's high. three times it's happened in the barns and the tractors gone front down up to the headlights in the front grill twice, and I got my self out with the front end loader those times. Last time all 4 wheels went in with no real warning. I could step right out from the cab floor to the ground, thats 3 1/2 ft. We dragged it out with the big 4wd tractor, and you could see the spring running in the ruts in the bottom of the hole. All we can do then is dig it out real quick with the Backhoe loader and re pack it with fresh clay, that last time was 20 loads to fix it by the time it was sealed and packed hard. glad to hear the volvo running good again, i bet you'll change another injector soon when they all start failing. Thanks for sharing more things with us, Take care

I think I live the fact that you're so calm and collected, when things go wrong. I'd work for you anyday
Chris, you just need some Chrome tracks to go with them tinted windows on that 220, then it'll be off to the local cruise you go!
I watch a lot of your videos. You are a very good operator. I enjoy your videos. I have been a Volvo mechanic for over 20 years.
Tint looks badass man! I just make the windshield match the rest! 😂 funny you have to worry about getting the truck stuck in August! It’s either muddy or powdered dry! Thanks for sharing
Tint is the only way to go! I have my cab tractor tinted. Its so nice when its nice and sunny outside.
All ur videos are great my man. Keep at it, hopefully I get hired somewhere that dose what u do.
About ready for that big Volvo Blade to shape it up and keep a haul road smooth.
That spring you seen over near the trees might be running under alot of that field possibly, I find them all the time in my construction work
Wonder if this guy is married...probably not! Too much competition as much as this guy loves his job and equipment! Well admittedly that volvo is one sexy excavator! lmao
name is dave his husband
tony the tigerman seriously?
Yes life partner David.
Atleast you have the equipment to get yourself out if you get stuck. Otherwise, that would be one expensive tow bill.
Would a tow company even send a truck offroad that much to begin with ?
animenut69 possibly be it would cost a ridiculous amount of money

To The Top Crane, that seemed to be a hell of an over reaction to your comment. I'm sure your comment didnt offend Chris.

Another great video my friend packed with action!!!

Now that you've tinted windows, need to lower it & make it the first "low rider" excavator ,lol.
Damn you knocked ole dude hard getting em unstuck!
Chris you have the equipment getting out if you get stuck, otherwise it can get very expensive......😲💥😲💥😲💥😎😎😎😎😎
Very cool -- QUESTION -- I really like the tinted windows on the excavator. What level of tint and brand did you get? Is it ceramic tint and did you notice any interference with radios?
You might want to try a polarizing filter on your camera to get rid of the reflections: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polarizing_filter_(photography)
this was a good video was funny seeing you get stuck and then drag racing the bulldozer will look good when its done
Do you usually bid on these jobs or are you asked by the land owner to do the work?
Chris, do you ever walk those areas you clear. You're probably walking over dozens of Indian artifacts, Points, knife blades, axes, scrapers, pottery.and a whole lot of other items. I spent man a day walking fields and river banks looking
Man you know your machine.
water trapped under clay will be soft, but driveable until the water starts to percolate up, then t's just soup.
hmm, is it a flat rate for clearing? or does it depend if its forest/field?
Great video any word on the new machine the tenant windows look good on the excavator I but it a little cooler too

Has TH-cam helped yalls work load??
I put 50% on the front, I see that wasnt enough
took one look at that truck and thought, 'he's gonna say cattywampus'. ah, the language of my people.
Are you going to get a bigger dozer or do you not need one with what you do??
A drone overflight of this site would be interesting
It’s 3 honks not 2 for a drag race.
In several videos you mention the Boss man , is he the boss or just bossy?
Any way youncould up the volume a bit please, Chris. I have got my Ipad as high as it will go.
Ur a smooth operator hate it when people jerk and slam their machines around
What's the cost to clear an acre of land like that.
Well, if you’re going to get stuck, you might as well do it right lol.
How come it prints something different than U say?
With the windows tinted the machine is cooler to work in.
From mud to almost dusty in the same day...
Never in my entire TH-cam life have I been this early.
that is a nice looking 220
Sounds like the haul truck is running better. What ended up being wrong with it?
Bad injector
John Kifflom thanks. I just put all 6 in my truck. Not cheap!
Can you see ok with the tints and sun glasses as well?
I think yous need a CB radios in your trucks to have a chat with each other. everybody on TH-cam you think so too
Now you addressed the dozer,I get it,too wet
Chris, Do you sometimes wish you had a tailgate on the truck?
once when I was hauling mud, but its more efficient for me without one
They are great if all you are doing is hauling dirt. They don’t work for hauling brush and trees and a pain in the butt to take off and put back on
@@letsdig18 I run a cat 740, building well sites in pa.... no tailgate.....
What did the mechanic find out about the Volvo haul truck?
She’s hupajuped
Clearing this land to make new farmland?
That should come out of that under its own power
hey, dont bury your hauler truck ! lol :o
Stoney Ridge farm needs your help.
Missed a few if your videos, but the rock truck sounds better
no diff lock? only one wheel looks like it was turning
Watching these videos make me wish I had picked a different career choice.
How much does a job like this cost?
Forgot to ask, have you ever rolled over the rock truck?
ive come close
Hey Chris like your videos
Why dont they put locking diffs in a rock truck is beyond me. Make more sense to me with the terrain they are on all the time. Or is it manual locking and didnt get locked in the first time you pushed him out? Much much better tinted!
you can lock all 6 tires with a button on the floor, he just didnt have it pushed
ah I thought it would be odd not to have it. I never grew up with rock trucks just all standard 5-18yd trucks.
@@letsdig18 yep but even all 6 in bad mud ain't gonna get it.
city slicker asks what is a nat ... a bug or a snake or a flying thing ???
Wet spots are fun lol
That six by is fast
Haul Truck sounds alot better must have replaced the injector or injectors. Or whatever was wrong with it
Edit guess i shoulda watched all the way through since you mention it lol
The haul truck needs some tint at well
Dont you hate those WET SPOTS! at least you a machine that could get you out.
Is Volvo cheaper than Cat or the others
Gnats are the worst.
Thats got to be a carton.
When is the 250 gonna get there r is it gonna be for the pond like u said could u not build a rake that could go on the ho
I’d get flotation tires for the dump truck

Must be real bad if that 6 x 6 adt is have problems
Running that thing at like 9/10 throttle ? Lol
Like the tint
Turn the wheel all the way to the left and all the way to the right while trying to go forward. Alot of times you can get it out its self. We get these stuck all the time.
thats how I ended up in the current situation
@@letsdig18 let's dig.... he just digging it in deeper. Wallowing in the mud
