Some lore on Morgott: He was born an Omen, just like his brother Mogh. Omens do not have the grace of the erdtree and most of them have their horns cut off and abandoned. Cutting their horns though, causes them to die most of the time. The ones which survive are usually abandoned and thrown into the wild where they are hunted by omen killers. Omens fortunate enough to both survive the cutting and come from a royal family are thrown into the severs. Marika wanted to cut off Morgott's and Mogh's horns, but their father opposed this and so it didn't happen, but they still got thrown into the sewers until they grew up anyway. Morgott, even tho rejected and despised by the golden order, ended up being the only one from the family who stayed in the capital and protected it, putting everybody's fullish ambitions to take over the capital to rest (Radahn's Malenia, everybody pretty much fought at Leyndell trying to get it). He was the erdtree's only protector, even though he was rejected by it. But, at the end, as you defeat him, the erdtree spurns him with grace and so his horns disappear. And later on in the game in a cutscene we can see he turns into dust and returns to the erdtree (meanwhile no Omen can).
Here's a crazy lore fact: The giant stone dragon in the capitol isn't a statue, or at least wasn't always. In the lore when a dragon dies it turns to stone, and that dragon was a dragon called Gransax, it attacked the capitol. Also in the lore, one of the Demigods, Godwyn, had an epic 1v1 with it using lightning to defend the capitol, which is why it is now dead when the game takes place.
Yes it plus thorny cracked tear (it has been nerfed now, but I still use it) are god tears. ALSO SSS strat. When there is a site of grace right outside of a boss. Use all of your buffs, sit at site of grace, get all flasks back but you will retain your buffs. Then walk in to have flasks buffs for 2nd phase as well.
Love the series - keep it coming. A little tip for the area u are probably about to explore (u should): Far left on the map from altus elevator (still kinda in altus tho), is a huge mountain with a Volcano Manor. If u join them - u will be given contracts, assassination jobs. Almost each one gives u an amazing armour set. FINISH ALL OF THOSE JOBS before u kill the area boss - otherwise u will lock yourself out of those armour sets. And If your bias towards joining them - don’t, it doesn’t lock you out of anything
I love how you recognize the souls-series enemy-models like for example the omen killers having attack patterns of the capra demon or the tree-avatars having attack patterns of the asylum demon :) btw please don't be too dissapointed with the enemies difficulty.. you basically have the most op gear and build in the whole game so its like playing with a black knights halberd just more op.. other builds and less experienced players can definitely struggle there and before you completely finish the game with this build I can recommend you trying around a bit since you are a veteran and can always come back to clapping any annoying boss with the lions claw greatsword and spirit summons ^^ for example: morgotts sword is my 2nd favourite weapon after the greatsword if you dont count the dlc 👀
Tip for the future: the Putrid Avatars' Rot cloud doesn't extend behind them when they buttslam, so circling behind them when they jump is a good way to stay safe and keep the pressure up at the same time. 😎👍
@TheLegendaryEddy I was honestly impressed that you managed to get clear of the cloud running away like you did. I don't think I've EVER managed it that way. 😎👍
Millicent’s quest is the reason why she’s my favorite character alongside Malenia. I’m really excited for you to get to that dungeon. It’s peak From Soft
I don't know if you skipped that catacomb at 16:22 or you just didn't include it in the video, but catacombs and caves in general are great sources of weapons and talismans. Upgrade mats too. Anyway, great video as always fellow tarnished.
Another great episode. I have watched some of your Sekiro videos and I was surprised by the difference, you definitely step up your commentary, sound and its much more enjoyable. Good job man, keep up

Well done fellow tarnished. I play regularly as well. Surprised no one mentioned the shackle. Makes the fight less bothersome. Key item that locks him down briefly.
Outside of dragons fighting bosses on horse back makes them harder. Torrent doesn't get any i-frames and has very little health. horse's best use is closing distance on bosses when they move away from you. Also congrats on putting together a very good build on your first time playing.
Really enjoying this series! A few gameplay tips: I notice you using Lion's Claw a lot while out of FP (You'll see lion's claw crossed out on the left of your screen), so you might consider drinking the cool blue blaster juice some more. Also, I think I saw the opaline bubbletear in your physic, but I gotta tell you that the opaline hardtear you got from the really hard tree sentinel in Caelid is where it's at. One of the best all around options for your physic in the whole game. One note on the needle questline - Millicent's next location is Gowry's shack. You'll have to talk to her there, then rest and talk to Gowry. A fun trick is to quit to menu and then reload. It counts as a rest but keeps you in place so you don't have to run back to his shack. She has two more locations in Altus Plateau after that, but I won't tell you where. If you remember the Albinauric village back in south west Liurnia (where you first met Nepheli), there is a guy disguised as a pot there that I'm unsure if you talked to. You should talk to him if not. I noticed you didn't do the story progress stuff after Morgott. There are some immediate things that I think you're forced to do, and you're given a medallion. I don't want to spoil anything, but using that medallion is one of the things that moves the world forward and locks a couple of quests, though none of them are terribly important. My super selfish request is for you to play with taunter's tongue on. If you're on PC, maybe I'll invade you, haha. Much love brother! You're funny and good at the game.
Wow that’s a lot of info thanks legend! Yea I haven’t moved the story along yet I’m exploring more of the Altus and probably going to complete Ranni’s quest line (or at least get as far as I can). I’ll have to check the tears a lot closer for my best option lol. But yea thanks legend! Next episode will most likely be pure side quest stuff!
@@TheLegendaryEddy My selfish request is that you collect both halves of the medallion to Miquella's haligtree. _Someone_ is waiting for you at the very end of Elphael, Brace of the haligtree. I definitely do not recommend going there below level 100 though, its the hardest zone in the entire game. Edit: i just remembered Millicents quest line takes you there anyway, so you'll know you're meant to be there if you see her there.
There is an underground part of leyendell. Look out for a well and jump down to access it. It's one of the coolest and most complex areas of the game. You should really check it out. Please keep it up!!
For the purtird tree avatar the plan is to stick to him when he jumps just dodge to his side and you dont take damage since he cant scarlet rot from the behind and hit him and repeat

Sorry I'm late, anyways The reason you were doing less damage with Lions Claw near the end of some boss fights is that you were running out of FP, and that is needed to use skill, or in this case, do it with full damage. Also, near the grand lift of Dectus, there I am evergaol with essentially a clone of godrick, who drops a talisman that boosts damage of your skill by 15% Hope this helped, excited to see the next video
This is fun, I like that you haven’t pieced together the most OP weapons, spells or ashes. People robbed themselves of that magical first play through when the game first came out and some weapons were far too strong and didn’t even get to see some bosses 2nd phases or moves. The steamers that played this when it first came out were playing like 16 hours straight each day and you could tell they were getting burnt out by the time they got to the capitol. They didn’t admire the scenery like you did, they wanted to just rush to the end. The game is too big to plow though. Just chilling and exploring is the way to go.
Great videos Legend! I'm with you from the very start. On the sides of the entrance of the capital there is a cave with the most fun Boss of the game, a duo that will be the challenge you are looking for haha. Looking forward for that video :D
Is it that cave that the statue is guiding you to? It's ;in the video right before the Draconic Tree Sentinel fight. If it is then I am not forgetting about it.
Btw right to the Phantom bridge sight of grace there is a tree avatar which is guarding a chest which contains the weapon Giant Crusher which when turned into heavy affinity is the best strength weapon
Btw if i remember right the golden guy you spared and said just to annoy him you hit him on torrent drops a ash of war called golden vow which u can put on a useless weapon like dagger cuz the ash of war gives you a buff.
The next major area, mountaintops, scales kinda high so it's unlikely you'll be overleveled for it, so I recommend you to just explore the areas you've yet to explore. A good idea would be first going to Nokron, where the red mark on the map is, since that place scales the lowest. Then to the west of Altus Plateu, mount gelmir and the volcano manor there. That stuff is leyndell level so you're gonna be fine. And only then progress the main story (just my recommendation. On the giant lightning bolt in Lyndel if you explore it you’ll find a really cool weapon on top of it. You should check it out. I liked and subscribed. Love you Legend!
Let's goo I'm glad you went there. I gotta ask tho: What's your opinion on Leyndell? And how does it compare to previous souls locations for u? Also I recommend going back there cuz from what I saw you miseed a LOT (and even I wasn't everywhere there).
There is a underground city u should go there before u cant its new to abanue balcony or hos the grace is called if u jump uf the way pls go there its at least as big as the city
@ no not really there is an entire underground map and u will find it in rannis quest but under the capital are hunderts of caracomvs and caves plscheck it out
I will find the time stamp for you, it was pretty early. When you fell down the cliff and survived. Then jumped down another cliff which was safe. Right before that second jump you walked by a golden tree 🌳
I have seen very few compelling ideas as to why the fortified mansion and the round table hold are the same. We can guess that the fortified mansion was a sort of old mansion built, likely, for Godfrey, First Elden Lord, and his men. Chief among them being the Crucible Knights. The throne was likely his aswell being identical to the Elden Throne in Morgotts boss room. Godfrey is a character likely inspired by King Arthur and thus the modern name of the Round Table Hold. I think it can be imagined that, after he was exiled by Queen Marika, the building remained a site for military leaders and heroes to gather. As they died, they would lay their weapons down upon the round table, forever becoming one with this historic building. However, as the nation fell into decline and the rulers grew further separated from the chivalric founder, Godfrey, it became forgotten or simply left to disuse. (The first burning of the Erdetree probably didn't help with that.) The three fingers, looking to punish the errant Queen Marika after her shattering of the Elden Ring, must have felt fond of the historic building. Perhaps thinking it a symbol of simple stabler times? Perhaps even seeing the exile of Godfrey as the first mistake Queen Marika made. Unable to take the actual building, they must have took a snapshot of it out of time?? Made a dream-like copy?? Actual time travel to the building's peak use??? or maybe Just straight rebuilt it somewhere off the map??? Probably not the last one because of a story event that happens a little later in the game. The time travel idea has some fun theories attached, but I don't know that I buy them. Really its actual status is unknown, and, as far as I know, untouched in the actual game. I mean even what I've said here is mostly idle speculation, and the only comparable locations I can think of to compare it to would be the final boss room and some dream worlds you can enter. (Most were cut from the game.) Both are mysterious in their own right, and so they don't really help us deduce any answer. I suppose the only one who really knows is the three fingers, and they are literally not talking.
Please keep posting this series man I’m really enjoying it man, good luck on the future episodes
Thanks legend!

Lol it's a guess cause Godfrey I know is at least an important character and it just looks like an illusion/spirit i guess?
imma go Max Holloway on him goes way too hard 🤣🤣
Real ones know!
Be sure to explore the whole capital vefire endgame cause a lot of em will disappear after a fertain point
Yea I will definitely explore more in the next episode!
You should start crafting stuff like greases and pots. It’d be mad useful to you ngl. Like fire grease against the tree people is peak
Yea I really need to start doing that lol.
@@TheLegendaryEddyyusss dude it’ll elevate your playstyle I just know it. Only downside is farming for the ingredients but it’s easy af tbh
Let's goo I'm glad you went there.
I gotta ask tho: What's your opinion on Leyndell? And how does it compare to previous souls locations for u?
Also I recommend going back there cuz from what I saw you miseed a LOT (and even I wasn't everywhere there).
Oh yea I’m definitely going to explore more in the area before I move the story along. Also need to do Rannis side quest
@@TheLegendaryEddy bro didn't answer the question 😭
6:03 ahahahah so funny
Idk if you know this but you can use those smithing stones to upgrade weapons in the Roundtable hold
I probably over leveled my sword lol. But I am leveling up other weapons in the background and if I like any of them I will use them more in the vids!

Love your videos!! Why don’t you do live session on YT or Twitch?
I will eventually I just hope my pc can handle it lol.
Try doing Bernahls quest one of the funniest quests in the game
Would love to see you play the dlc after the main game
Definitely will
Casually walks by golden tree hahaha😂
I missed something important?
I will find the time stamp for you, it was pretty early. When you fell down the cliff and survived. Then jumped down another cliff which was safe. Right before that second jump you walked by a golden tree 🌳
@4:51
@@NotWhosUrDaddi2 He picked it up off cam, there is no seed on the ground
Ahhhh I see
the leaves are for crafting and crafting is mostly useless in this game there are 5 times you have to use crafting to do summ so yeah
I just want to be able to tank that scarlet rot crap and fight those tree things faster lol
just some feedback. you should change your bubble buff to like a stamina buff exchange 10% for 90% longer benefit. Still enjoying the content
I’ll have to look up which ones do that but I enjoy the ones I have. Less damage taken and more chance to posture break enemies. Helps with bosses lol
(The first burning of the Erdetree probably didn't help with that.)
The three fingers, looking to punish the errant Queen Marika after her shattering of the Elden Ring, must have felt fond of the historic building.
I love how complex the lore is I’ll definitely study up on it more as I finish the game. Thanks for your thoughts and theories legend!
Also dont forget to find and fight Malenia 😉
One of the few bosses I know are must do in this game. Defiantly wont forget to face her
Faith dex is the most funny way to play this game man. RESPEC to go away from your confort zone ☠️☠️🙏
