Dr. Ian! I love these jewels you discover and share with us fringe dwellers as Stuart Wilde once called it. I began living on the fringe in the sanctuary at Unity Village with Martha Guidici on Wednesday evenings with a room filled with a ratio of women to men of like 25 women and 10 men. Your nuggets of wisdom you find are such a blessing to the consciousness. Eric’s words are so special as he delivers his talks. He always takes me back to my early days of Unity when I was 18 years old and so excited I discovered a belief in God that fit my heart. Thank you for always sharing such great talks. ❤🙏🤗

I am touched by your kind words and your sharing of your memories of times spent at the wonderful Unity Village. There is a tape or two of Martha’s on my channel. Just go to the playlists and search for her name. Otherwise the tape(s) would be in New Thought (general). God bless you!

WOW!! Thanks for sharing another outstanding lecture.
Dr. Eric Butterworth was right when he said, “Where you are in consciousness has everything to do with what you see in experience.”
His eloquence and non-theological way of presenting his lectures have guided and helped me in “freeing God from the church religion,” that I had blindly held on to.

Charles, that is so moving and insightful. Thank you for sharing that. Eric Butterworth had a similar impact on me when I first heard his voice, on tape, in the early 1980s. I was blown away by his insights. Keep well, friend.

You know that Eric Butterworth was fond of saying that life is consciousness. This is much the same theme as that of a movie from years ago with Shirley MacLaine and Peter Sellers titled, Being There.
In the last few seconds of the movie as Peter Sellers' characters walking on water, you hear the words, " Life is a state of mind."

That’s great wisdom. Dr Emmet Fox - I wish we could hear his voice but there are no tapes - wrote a pamphlet “Life is Consciousness” which should be online. It’s very true. And I enjoyed that film. Thanks for your cerebral comment. Cheers!

@@drianej You are most welcome my friend. I'm glad that you know the film. One could look at the walking on water at the end of the movie as an elevation of his consciousness. Similarly, Pink Floyd's last album, The Endless River, has a picture on the cover of a man piloting a small boat off towards the sunset. However, if you look closely, he is not on the surface of the water but rather on top of the clouds. Very similar analogy with deep symbolism in the picture. Blessings!
