Another great playthrough. You guys have one of the best production values for these playthroughs I've seen. I love the step-by-step explanations and zoom in on the cards. I'm sure it's a lot of extra work but greatly appreciated. Onto Undimensioned and Unseen! Klingon Notes: You can't gain resources at Osborn's General Store (you guys were robbing that place!) 23:00 (Rex gain resource action at the General Store) 26:40 (Rex reset gain resource at the General Store) 36:32 (Agnes gains engage resource and then the reset gain resource at the General Store) 1:06:20 - Rex can't play Mind Over Matter during the Mythos phase (only on his turn) 1:08:18 - Agnes can't move to Bishop's Brook while another investigator (Rex) is there 1:27:20 - Rex gets a Servant of Many Mouths which should have spawned in an empty location (instead of engaging Rex) 1:30:50 - Rex forgets to draw another token because of his curse.
Hi Bullitt! Thanks as always for your comments. We do our best to make the game clear, easy to follow and entertaining. It does indeed take a bit of time, but it is worth it when we get encouraging comments like yours! Much appreciated! Thanks a lot for taking the time to give us the Klingon notes and sorry about all the errors. I have added them all to the subtitles. Cheers!
Two things that make life a little easier: (1) when a location's shroud is 0 (like when Rex used his flashlight on a 2 shroud location), the only way he can fail is through the auto fail (i.e. even if it was a 2 intellect and you drew a -4 token, the test resolves as a 0 and you pass), and (2) when you are instructed to find an enemy in the encounter deck, you can cherry-pick whichever enemy you want who fits the criteria (such as Humanoid)--you don't have to take the first one you come across.
Wow Craig! That has blown my mind! If the shroud is down to 0 it resolves as a 0 no matter what you draw (besides the autofail)? I guess that it makes sense, but it never occurred to me. Thanks a lot for the tip. Same with getting to cherry-pick the enemy. That will certainly make life a bit easier whenever these cards come out. There are a lot of these little nuances in Arkham Horror, and many of them are easy to miss, but it just goes to show what a masterpiece of design this game is! Cheers!
1:33:41 You cheated yourself out of two victory points! They were on The Hidden Chamber and you get them for finding all the clues on the location. Also, you were excited about winning the scenario and forgot to draw a second token for Rex's Curse at 1:30:57.
Sorry Craig, just spotted this comment now. We did indeed miss the 2 VP on the Hidden Chamber, and Rex's Curse's second token. I have made notes in the Klingon subtitles. Thanks for that.
23:00 Rex can't gain a resource with his fourth action at the General Store because the location prohibits gaining resources. This also would have prevented Rex from getting a resource in the upkeep phase at 26:45.
Hi Ian! We are very well thank you. How are things with you and yours? Yes, Arkham Horror is one of my favourites. It is definitely worth getting the expansions. I liked the base game, but after playing the Dunwich Cycle my love for the game has gone through the roof. My favourite scenario is "The House Always Wins" in the casino with the Clover Club Pit Boss following us around, but aloof, so not engaging. Definitely want to try out some of the other expansions. I hope Santa is nice to you this year!!
@@AllAboardBoardgames we’re both doing well, thanks. Funnily enough Mrs H mentioned it last night as we haven’t played it for quite a while, along with Mice and Mystics (only played once about 2 years ago - we never really got to grips with it, I’ll probably have to watch some TH-cam videos to familiarise myself with the rules).
@@ianhaygreen9899 There are indeed a lot of rules in Arkham Horror, but it is a lot of fun. Hope you and Mrs. H get a chance to get it to the table. We haven't played Mice and Mystics yet. So many games to try to get around to...
36:45 Zoey can't get a resource when engaged by the Hunting Nightgaunt at the General Store because the location prevents it. This should also prevent her from gaining a resource at 37:10. Same at 48:50.
No worries! Until you get used to it, there are a lot of card interactions that happen at once. The location card texts, in particular, can be difficult to remember!
@@craigcodlin5249 Yeah, there are a lot of things going on at once. We read the locations when they are revealed, but it is easy to forget to check them again later while we are in the locations or moving to them, so that can lead to missing a lot of details.
1:08:25 Oops! Zoey can't move to that location because the location prohibits any investigator from moving there if there is already an investigator there.
29:12 For the Test in the "house in the Reeds". It says, you can't play events. it says nothing about committing cards, so Zoey would have even able to commit a card for the test
That is true Michael! Good spot. She could have committed her Dynamite Blast to the test. I have made a note in the Klingon subtitles. Thanks for telling us.
1:33:21 Glai should not lose her Beat Cop for the rest of the campaign, as it is only "unique" Allies (those with an asterisk, like Professor Rice) who get lost forever.
1:06:29 You always start drawing encounter cards with the lead investigator, not the investigator who went first that round, so the order should never change. Also, I'm sad to say that Rex could not play Mind Over Matter during the Mythos Phase because it says it can only be played during "your turn," which only happens in the Investigator Phase (while Rex is taking his actions). This is different from Keen Eye, which can be activated during any phase to bolster tests.
Thanks Craig. I have made a note in the Klingon subtitles for these. I am not sure how I missed the Mind Over Matter rule here, as I know that one well. I think I intended on playing it for the icon and got distracted by its ability.

Hey there buddy! How are things with you?
@@AllAboardBoardgames - Havening family and friends over for Thanksgiving. We're all getting ready.

1:27:22 The Servant of Many Mouths should spawn at an empty location, as per the card, so you actually didn’t have to deal with him at all! 😊
Yes, that would have reduced the stress a little bit! haha... Thanks again!
At 18:30 I think you played Mind over Matter without paying the one resource.
You are absolutely correct. Thank you for letting us know. I have made a note in the Klingon subtitles.
1:19:30 should have drawn a resource during upkeep
