- Our host Kavita takes a look at the food from the New Berlin. After the Berlin Wall came down, Berlin experienced great change as artists from all over the world visited, restaurants and bars opened, and the food culture modernized.
There is a lot of great cuisine to try out in the city of Berlin, including its street food, market halls, and cheap döner kebabs. In this episode, Kavita will feature the best and most interesting street food spots Berlin has to offer, from authentic Thai cuisine to Turkish food stands, which brought the al fresco dining culture to Berlin.

I like this host, she's spontaneous and authentic. Doesn't matter her looks or cultural origins, she's here to show us what locals eat in Berlin and she's doing a fine job at that.

I must admit i've come across my share of hosts with you guys, some dumb, some smart, some entertaining...but this host here, this host here you guys should keep. She gives me that warm feeling, that feeling that makes you feel at home, she comes across very motherly and genuine. Keep her, Cheers!

Love the host so much~ you can tell she knows and loves her food just by the way she eats. And I love it that she accepts the different culture and tries everything, even raw pork in another episode.

I'm Irish, living in America. You can say a lot of bad things about Americans, but not that they aren't generally extremely friendly and welcoming. On the other hand, I've travelled all over the world and Berliners are BY FAR the rudest people I have ever met.
I wouldn't know about Berlin Dave, but I do know about American behavior, I live in the US. When I was younger more people in this country were far nicer than they are in this day & age. And I've lived in quite a few locations in the US. (Husband is military) I didn't say *all* americans, but a many of them.

I live at Thai Park. I think it's represented well in the video but as someone who has gotten food poisoning there over 5 times (I still go back for more) it's not the best street food around
