I'm not saying one way or the other, and it doesn't take liability off of Video coach but if Talon was the GM who hired problem video coach, and he did, the season before in 08-09, why when Vincent was allegedly fired or quit, did he return to Talon in Florida to become the skating/skills coach under Talon? Why was Vincent approaching sports psychologist instead of Bowman directly or Cheveldayoff? not enuff info... why did Torcheski go with rumored player to Atlanta after problem year? sounds like simply a headache.
Yeah, that's the thing with stuff like this. We don't know the small details about who knew what, who thought what etc. This sounds disgusting and there is smoke so there must be fire. Anything like this is just speculation unless there's something tangible existent to suggest otherwise. Reports are that "everyone on the team knew" but the key is to not assume that everything you hear is completely or even partially true. Even if those players that have been speaking up should be praised for coming forward, it's been a decade since this allegedly happened. While we may never truly see the full picture, those who knew, had the available resources and chose to do nothing about it should be ashamed of themselves.
From TSN: Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews told The Athletic website in late June that he first heard about allegations against Aldrich right before training camp before the 2010-11 season. Toews said he was "annoyed" when The Athletic quoted an unnamed Blackhawks player saying every player on the 2009-10 knew about the alleged assaults because "it seemed like it fed the fire a little bit.” "As far as I know, some guys may have caught whispers of it and some guys were clueless until the next year," Toews said. "I don’t think that was an accurate statement.”
I don’t think Kane was directly involved but he definitely knew about it. Like the person above said, anybody who knew about this situation and did nothing should be gravely ashamed.
