I have been in Typhoons twice and they only lasted 2 days or thereabouts. I had to hunker down in our hotel because it was unsafe to go outdoors. The hotel manager had wisely asked us to park our rental car away from other cars by at least 2 or 3 spots. We watched in horror as it inched closer to other vehicles. The pressure on the hotel windows was so great we saw them bowing. Water bubbled like it was boiling in the sliding door tracks along our balcony. Luckily we were in Okinawa where structures are built to military standards. After it was over, a few scattered palm fronds outdoors was all that seemed amiss. I pray Jamaica fares as well especially in terms of lives spared.
We in 🇯🇲still believe the report of our Lord Jesus, we live by faith not by what we see.We are confident also anything Jesus allows to befall Us here in 🇯🇲 His grace and mercies are watching Us🦅💕.
Am from Jamaica, Ocho Rios to be specific today was a beautiful windy day at first and then for the most part it was just still and extremely hot. My fam and I have done all we can do to prepare as much as possible. This will be my second hurricane ever Sandy was my first and was around 7 or 8 then. I am anxious yet kindof alil bit worried as Beryl behavior is very unpredictable.
@K-jaye. Am fr ST.ANN too, Moneague to be exact, don’t be scared or worry Ur young head too much, we are a praying nation, remember God answered children prayers too,Ur prayer is just as important as the adults.LOv U💜🙏
That recorded history is only about 200 years. If you believe in either of the 2 most commonly adhered to ages of the earth 6,000 years and 4,500,000,000 years this 200 year is paltry. SInce the 6000 yrs gives the 200 yr sample size the most validity lets examin that: 200÷6000 reduces to 20÷600 which reduces to 2÷60 which reduces to 1÷30 or 1/30th or 3.33%. Obviously that sample size especailly bunched up on one end of the data population renders it non-representative and untrustworthy. Bottomline is that there were very likely earlier and stronger hurricanes in the earlier 96.7% of earth's time.
