It would be nice but it is not needed! We don't need to see every nook and cranny of a TH-camrs life they show us what they wish to and they don't need to feel bad when they decide something makes them feel uncomfortable. I just watched a woman with the same thing about a house tour we need a house tour they kept saying. She was obviously uncomfortable about it and didn't want to do it and hasn't done it yet. I swear to God I'm not being mean I am just of a mind that if she wanted to video the shop and put it on her Channel she will and if she doesn't it isn't because nobody asked. You shouldn't have to ask is what I mean. If she wants to show the show up she'll do it whether she's asked or not. Have a great weekend! :-)
Agreed! This is the only makeup sub unboxing channel I follow. It’s personality. Not to diminish any of the other very talented folks doing something similar on their own channels, but Miss Ryan’s sweet, warm, and funny personality sets her apart! Also, #Kentuckygirlsdoitbetter. 🤗
Jen I noticed that too. I guess they made her a bit more of a priority since she has a lot of people she could influence I guess. But I think the general population has theirs coming randomly. Maybe it’s about locations, like some locations get it sooner than others. I did see this month most people didn’t get an email, and it just showed up! The only way they got it to show up was through the fed ex app. (I tried that, but it didn’t work)
I contacted boxy hoping that maybe I just hadn't received my email yet like lots of others I've seen.... But no... Hasn't shipped and its so frustrating. I get my box just days before being charged for the next.
Marisa Mitchell I have been a Boxycharm subscriber since early 2015 and never really had any problems. Though I will mention that if one needs to contact customer service, it is a hassle. It's sub par in my opinion especially with miscommunications understanding emails. Frustrating. My point in my post was to say that strangely the last few boxes I have gotten, have had a product that has been obviously swatched, had a finger print, smudged, etc. I haven't used any of the products yet but I am mentioning this out of disappointment. I belong to a few Boxycharm fb groups and have seen others mention them having the same thing happen. Not sure what to think?!?
Jolana S. Could that be possible? Although, I can't think of any other explanations. I would think that would be a health violation due to hygiene? Just throwing around thought and hoping it doesn't continue to happen in the future.
I have been following your channel for a few months and you are very real and refreshing. I love your sense of humor and honesty. I watch other channels and feel like a failure because my makeup technique looks like a hot mess compared to them. I forgot some people are pros with makeup and have been trained. Years and years ago I purchased a Laura Geller baked eyeshadow in taupe rose gold. It still looks brand new today and works perfectly! How many makeup items do you see that have a plastic shrink wrap around them?? Nope I didn't get that eyeshadow primer and I don't use it anyway. Blush and brighten should be used with a very light hand and it is gorgeous that way you see the blush in one way and when you turn your hand you see the brighten in another way! I received a Hank and Henry liquid lipstick in just about the same shade. We got blush from pretty vulgar and I like them a lot. They released a line of cosmetics and then did nothing for 2 years. All of the sudden they are back and they are fabulous products.
I've been eyeing those Pretty Vulgar palettes for a quick minute now. Can't believe one came in a subscription box. And that grape color looks amazing on you!

Gorgeous colors in the palette. So pretty. I love the look that you did. I am very pale as well, so I might try some of those colors.

@@xxSkyzxGame I'm aware of what holographic means and it looks like a holographic pink on my screen. I don't know what you see on your screen but that's what it looks like on mine. Otherwise, I would have said just pink or even iridescent pink but that's not what I see. In person, her glasses don't reflect like that in the light but in this video it is pink with reflects of every color of the rainbow, hence holographic pink!

I've tried a few things I bought online and when I received them I was like uummm, NO! I did try them and was happy once I did. I hope I don't get that Lorac lip whatever, it will crawl up every line and I'll look like Jack Skellington! 🤣
Eyeshadow primer is a must. See how amazing the eye with it blended and color looks? I won’t be getting my box for a while because I’m in California but I really hope I get the other options because I can’t pull off that blush or lipstick. Hopefully my quiz helped me. Feel better hun!

Unfortunately every single month I get damaged products. Moldy,swatched,lids missing, lids not screwed on etc. They always say they will resend but I never get replacements. Yeah its only 21.00 BUT it’s money I pay for new untouched products.
aliana Gaines i get 2 boxycharm boxes and one eye liner had a finger print in it and the other was dried out because the lid wasn’t on. My smashbox lipstick didn’t have a fricken lid and it had lip prints on it! So gross!
That’s horrible! I just got my third charmbox today and everything came perfect. Boy charm is really active on instagram maybe contacting them in the eyes of everyone will make a difference. Good luck!
Between the eyeshadow last month and the lipstick this month, youd have great Halloween makeup. I havent gotten my box yet but will be sooo mad if I get that color! Love your videos!!
I just got my box today and was definitely most excited about the brushes and blush...Laura Geller has some of my fav blushes and I love getting makeup brushes in subscription boxes.
Just wanted to let you know that the brush you used for applying the crease shadow is actually a blending brush. They typically have longer strands and they do a great job blending. The shorter, narrower brush is for packing on color. and the straight, flat one is for lining with shadow. I think the end result was stunning though! Really beautiful!
I got the exact same box! I will say I am in love with the lip color. Also, the eye primer is something I would probably never buy for myself but it did enhance my eyeshadow look when I tried it. And the blush, I was worried when I tested it on my hand that is was too shiny but love it on my checks, I think it may be my favorite blush I have right now.
I'm hoping my variation of the box is good. I really love the palette and brushes, and the blush. Anything has to be an improvement over last month's box!
Canceled my BC box--- wasn't bad enough to get "waitlisted" for the Lux box---but then the owner made a really MEAN GIF and emailed it to all of us "unlucky fools" to remind us we weren't the "chosen"---sorry it was really hurtful;---but helped me remind myself---this is a BOX and I can take my $$$$ elsewhere where the people aren't "mean people".....but that has nothing to do with YOU Alexandria---YOU are a fantastic gal---wouldn't miss you for much of anything! thank you for always "sharing"!

I wanted to send you a pic of my blush because I swatches yesterday and there wasn’t even a line in it! I’m not sure that is a swatch mark or maybe if something was pressing the top into it! Either way I bet boxycharm would Exchange it! I used to subscribe to ipsy and in July I ran across boxycharm and I love it! After my August ipsy bag I immediately cancelled it! I feel like I constantly get the same stuff and for $11 more the products in boxy have been way more exciting! My lip color was Orchid I thought it was going to be dark like yours but it wasn’t too dark and looked very nice on! Also, I agree with you about last months eye pallet I don’t know what boxy was thinking but if I use one color in that pallet I will be shocked lol I did get a precision roll on eye line from butter London instead of the eyeshadow primer and it looks so unique I’m afraid to try it lol I tested it on my hand and it was amazing how crazy smooth it went on! I told Ipsy that I hadn’t gotten a brush in 4 months so If I didn’t get a brush this month I was done with them because the # 1 thing I want is the brush. I think I may have gone so far as to tell them it shouldn’t be such a problem to get the damned brush. 😂

I am excited for the palette and I am getting the same blush per my spoiler email. It was an ok box I do believe but that lip color is the darkest I have seen from a subscription box 🙈I was disappointed in my GlossyBox I uploaded yesterday and I can’t wait for my Lola as that palette looks good and of corse I can’t wait for my Ricky’s 😉 to come this month. I can relate to the sinus infection stuff. I get chronic sinusitis. It's murder on your nose to wear glasses while sick. The headache behind the eyes is what gets me, every time. Hope you feel better! 💙💜💙💜

I've gotten two different palettes from boxycharm & it was obvious they had been swatches before. I just sprayed alcohol on them but its happened more than once & I don't pay money for my stuff to have been used.

I have gotten a palette every single month and nothing was touched in any way shape or form! I have like eight palettes from them and not one had a problem or finger mark. And I wouldn't have given a rat's ass if it did have a mark on it! People today are just paranoid! I'm going to get some sort of disease! Highly doubtful. My blush also had no seal but it didn't have the streak across it. It looks lighter in your skin than it does in the container. Very pretty. I got the brushes also. I depend on these boxes for brushes. I got the butter London stroke of wow liner. Very creamy. The hank and Henry petal pusher is awesome! The bottom right corner of my nightingale pallet was smooshed a bit and had it on the corner of the lid and covering the name of the shade. It's still nice but packaging wasn't a good as if should've been.
Yes we got a very bright palette last month but what you failed to mention was that it was done by Laura Lee. I'm not a fan but four million people are. Some people would want that pallet just to collect it I think it's a nice idea because lots of my pallets don't have a pop of color so I can use that when I want one. The Laura Geller blush n brighten made the entire box worth it for me!

After I watched the spoilers for the Boxyluxe I was soooooo glad that I didn't even try to get it. Not a single item held any interest for me. When it comes to spending the extra money I think I'll just stick with Beautylish once a year. I recieved a great box.
I never used to wear eyeshadow primer but one day I decided to test different swatches on my arm , some without any primer, then some with primer and then some with a wet brush both with and without primer. The primer makes a huge difference, not just in longevity but it saturation as well. Try it out sometime, you'll never go back to not using it! - Lisa
Some eyeshadow formulas just do better with an actual primer. I don't like that it changed the tone, though. I might just use it when I want to amp up the warmth of a look...

I really like you, do makeup well, I have been subscribed to you for at year at least. I have been holding my tongue. But, I am just getting tired of the absent minded, inattentive, doesn't know which way is up gimmick . I know it's a gimmick because you can talk with out confusion and trouble when doing try-ons and when you summarize. I mean you have opened your own store! You can be goofy without acting like everything is by mistake or you don't know a damn thing. Frankly it is just getting to me. So yeah.
I am so glad you didn't get the weird "roller" liner do hickey that I did this month!! Not a bad box... Playing with the shadows tonight they're super patchy and powdery. I love the brushes though and I got a liquid lipstick that's super pretty!

I like that coulor of the lipstick dark plum I love it and the blushed as well I use that as a eyeshadow with I light purple coulor that will look very nice I think x
I LOVE this look,I love the dark purple lip,I love your eyeshadowlook,but i deffinetly love the eyeshadow on the primer side much better,the eyeshadow on the primer side looks much smoother,blended(with eyeshadowprimer,the blending Goes lot easier).That eyeshadowpallet looks great,i think that the majority of colours is right in your alley,and comfort zone.And i hope that you are going to use the eyeshadowprimer in the future,that has so many benefits,you don’t see any blueness or veins on your eyelids,the eyeshadows have a longer weartime,and don’t fade easy,and the blending Goes so much easier than without,and you always tell that you have a lot of difficulties with blending,and the whole eyeshadowlook you create looks a lot smoother when you use a primer,and when you want to wear glitter on your eyes,you have a special glitterglue or primer,than you have less fall out and the glitter stays a long time without fading.I love your video’s❤️
I got the bright pink blush in a past boxycharm and was upset till I put it on now it’s my favorite blush!!!! I love getting stuff out of my comfort zone!!!!
I keep watching your Boxycharm unboxing and I am really wanting to try it. I have Ipsy and Birchbox (which my hubby doesn't know about) and it seems that Birchbox is so much better. As always, you managed to make me laugh!!
FYI Laura Geller baked products like the Blush can be used wet or dry -- you could use a wet brush for a more intense color. It's a known brand, she sells a lot on QVC. Also Sephora tho. And I do think someone swatched the Blush.
You always seem to doubt yourself with your makeup skills. And every time I think you did an amazing job! Even on colors I don't like by the end I love the look. Go easy on yourself!!!
That palette has a ton of transition shades so I think if you went in with one of those first, maybe with a tapped off brush, you would be a lot more successful blending. I wouldn’t expect anybody to successfully blend out that dark of a brown without a transition shade. And it’s probably a good idea to fluff on a matte base shade with a fluffy brush rather than tapping it on with your finger, the oils on your fingers would definitely make things on top of that patchy

Hold on to the foam that comes in the boxes. You can clean your brushes with it to switch back and forth between colors but use the same brush.

Unfortunately every single month I get damaged products. Moldy,swatched,lids missing, lids not screwed on etc. They always say they will resend but I never get replacements. Yeah its only 21.00 BUT it’s money I pay for new untouched products.

aliana Gaines i get 2 boxycharm boxes and one eye liner had a finger print in it and the other was dried out because the lid wasn’t on. My smashbox lipstick didn’t have a fricken lid and it had lip prints on it! So gross!

Just wanted to let you know that the brush you used for applying the crease shadow is actually a blending brush. They typically have longer strands and they do a great job blending. The shorter, narrower brush is for packing on color. and the straight, flat one is for lining with shadow. I think the end result was stunning though! Really beautiful!

Loved the look. I can't do a dark lip to save my life, but the eyeshadow was really nice. I think the primer made a difference.

I got the exact same box! I will say I am in love with the lip color. Also, the eye primer is something I would probably never buy for myself but it did enhance my eyeshadow look when I tried it. And the blush, I was worried when I tested it on my hand that is was too shiny but love it on my checks, I think it may be my favorite blush I have right now.

The way the light is shining on your glasses makes it look like you have purple shadow but even without anything you look great.

I don't know how appropriate it would be to share the GIF here....I am sure the owner-guy and his gang thought it funny---but it was like he turned into a mean girl---yanking the BC box out of a girls arms--- and the email was basically--- "Yeah you didn't make the cut for the SEPT LUX box---but you get to wait til DEC".... I was insulted and wrote to BC ---their customer service girl was like "yeah---We Bad. Well if you ever wanna sign back up we would be happy to have you"......epic fail!

I wanted to send you a pic of my blush because I swatches yesterday and there wasn’t even a line in it! I’m not sure that is a swatch mark or maybe if something was pressing the top into it! Either way I bet boxycharm would Exchange it! I used to subscribe to ipsy and in July I ran across boxycharm and I love it! After my August ipsy bag I immediately cancelled it! I feel like I constantly get the same stuff and for $11 more the products in boxy have been way more exciting! My lip color was Orchid I thought it was going to be dark like yours but it wasn’t too dark and looked very nice on! Also, I agree with you about last months eye pallet I don’t know what boxy was thinking but if I use one color in that pallet I will be shocked lol I did get a precision roll on eye line from butter London instead of the eyeshadow primer and it looks so unique I’m afraid to try it lol I tested it on my hand and it was amazing how crazy smooth it went on! I will have to try it out this weekend! Enjoy eye shadow primer I love it! And prob use a little less lol love your videos!
I told Ipsy that I hadn’t gotten a brush in 4 months so If I didn’t get a brush this month I was done with them because the # 1 thing I want is the brush. I think I may have gone so far as to tell them it shouldn’t be such a problem to get the damned brush. 😂

I am excited for the palette and I am getting the same blush per my spoiler email. It was an ok box I do believe but that lip color is the darkest I have seen from a subscription box 🙈I was disappointed in my GlossyBox I uploaded yesterday and I can’t wait for my Lola as that palette looks good and of corse I can’t wait for my Ricky’s 😉 to come this month. I can relate to the sinus infection stuff. I get chronic sinusitis. It's murder on your nose to wear glasses while sick. The headache behind the eyes is what gets me, every time. Hope you feel better!

I've gotten two different palettes from boxycharm & it was obvious they had been swatches before. I just sprayed alcohol on them but its happened more than once & I don't pay money for my stuff to have been used.

I have gotten a palette every single month and nothing was touched in any way shape or form! I have like eight palettes from them and not one had a problem or finger mark. My blush also had no seal but it didn't have the streak across it. It looks lighter in your skin than it does in the container. Very pretty. I got the brushes also. I depend on these boxes for brushes. I got the butter London stroke of wow liner. Very creamy. The hank and Henry petal pusher is awesome! The bottom right corner of my nightingale pallet was smooshed a bit and had it on the corner of the lid and covering the name of the shade. It's still nice but packaging wasn't a good as if should've been.

Yes we got a very bright palette last month but what you failed to mention was that it was done by Laura Lee. I'm not a fan but four million people are. Some people would want that pallet just to collect it I think it's a nice idea because lots of my pallets don't have a pop of color so I can use that when I want one. The Laura Geller blush n brighten made the entire box worth it for me!

After I watched the spoilers for the Boxyluxe I was soooooo glad that I didn't even try to get it. Not a single item held any interest for me. When it comes to spending the extra money I think I'll just stick with Beautylish once a year. I recieved a great box.
I never used to wear eyeshadow primer but one day I decided to test different swatches on my arm , some without any primer, then some with primer and then some with a wet brush both with and without primer. The primer makes a huge difference, not just in longevity but it saturation as well. Try it out sometime, you'll never go back to not using it! - Lisa

Some eyeshadow formulas just do better with an actual primer. I don't like that it changed the tone, though. I might just use it when I want to amp up the warmth of a look...

I've never tried any baked items and the shade just looks so gorgeous. I also love that the palette is neutral but also cool toned, I think I'm the most excited for that. I really like you, do makeup well, I have been subscribed to you for at year at least. I have been holding my tongue. But, I am just getting tired of the absent minded, inattentive, doesn't know which way is up gimmick . I know it's a gimmick because you can talk with out confusion and trouble when doing try-ons and when you summarize. I mean you have opened your own store! You can be goofy without acting like everything is by mistake or you don't know a damn thing. Frankly it is just getting to me. So yeah.

I am so glad you didn't get the weird "roller" liner do hickey that I did this month!! Not a bad box... Playing with the shadows tonight they're super patchy and powdery. I love the brushes though and I got a liquid lipstick that's super pretty!

I LOVE this look,I love the dark purple lip,I love your eyeshadowlook,but i deffinetly love the eyeshadow on the primer side much better,the eyeshadow on the primer side looks much smoother,blended(with eyeshadowprimer,the blending Goes lot easier).That eyeshadowpallet looks great,i think that the majority of colours is right in your alley,and comfort zone.And i hope that you are going to use the eyeshadowprimer in the future,that has so many benefits,you don’t see any blueness or veins on your eyelids,the eyeshadows have a longer weartime,and don’t fade easy,and the blending Goes so much easier than without,and you always tell that you have a lot of difficulties with blending,and the whole eyeshadowlook you create looks a lot smoother when you use a primer,and when you want to wear glitter on your eyes,you have a special glitterglue or primer,than you have less fall out and the glitter stays a long time without fading.I love your video’s❤️

I keep watching your Boxycharm unboxing and I am really wanting to try it. I have Ipsy and Birchbox (which my hubby doesn't know about) and it seems that Birchbox is so much better. As always, you managed to make me laugh!!
FYI Laura Geller baked products like the Blush can be used wet or dry -- you could use a wet brush for a more intense color. It's a known brand, she sells a lot on QVC. Also Sephora tho. And I do think someone swatched the Blush.
You always seem to doubt yourself with your makeup skills. And every time I think you did an amazing job! Even on colors I don't like by the end I love the look. Go easy on yourself!!!
This is my first month getting boxycharm. I’m super excited for the brushes and palette.
That palette has a ton of transition shades so I think if you went in with one of those first, maybe with a tapped off brush, you would be a lot more successful blending. I wouldn’t expect anybody to successfully blend out that dark of a brown without a transition shade. And it’s probably a good idea to fluff on a matte base shade with a fluffy brush rather than tapping it on with your finger, the oils on your fingers would definitely make things on top of that patchy
