What a great video! Thank you for showing these steps at a close up and easy to learn. Have to follow you now because I love to bead especially with seed beads. Love the sunflower!
I am almost done with one earring and I love this tutorial! Very easy to follow and the further along I get, the more excited I get because you quickly see it coming to shape and it's so cute!
Thanks so much for posting the tutorial for these charming earrings. A good friend was marking the anniversary of her teenage daughter’s tragic death, and she mentioned to me that the girl’s favourite flowers were sunflowers. I decided to make these earrings for her. They were very quick and easy to construct. I made two modifications to your design: 1) I turned them upside down, so that the stems are hanging down. I made a loop between the two top petals, with a large hole gold crimp bead in the centre, and I used a jump ring to attach the crimp bead to the ear wire. 2) I added an inner row of smaller petals (just the 5 bead loops, not the additional 4 beads. I staggered these inner petals, so they lie in between the longer outer petals. I found the inner petals added dimension and made the earrings look more “finished,” in my opinion. I’d be happy to share a photo, if you give me an email address.
I love these earrings! I would love to make them but I’m new to this stitch. Do you have the instructions in writing anywhere? I would be glad to purchase it from you. Please let me know. Thanks so much for sharing!
Gorgeous pattern!! Great colors. Earings are lovely.🥰
I am from Kansas, so sunflowers are a favorite. I loved making these. It only took a couple of hours or so.
