The restaurant at the Sheraton motel in Danville, Pennsylvania, used to make an excellent hot bacon salad dressing for spinach. As shown here, your salad looks pretty close to what I remember. It's been thirty-three years since I last enjoyed it. Thank you for your instructions.

Here in PA Dutch country we have hot bacon dressing with endive or dandelion. Churches have fundraisers of endive or dandelion with hot bacon dressing. And shoofly pie and raisin bread for dessert of course. ;)
