    Anyone out there have a good or bad experience with RSUs?

      Great video,
      My partner lives in the UK and works as a senior executive for a giant US tech company. He is receiving a large amount of RSUs (well in excess of $1M in value) as part of his employee compensation which are vesting every month over a period of 4 years. If he holds onto them, and they increase in value, would he have to pay capital gains tax on the difference between the price at vesting vs price at sale? Seems a bit unfair to pay a double tax.
      Also, do you have any offices in the UK or know any advisors.

      @@georginathompson3788 Hi Georgina, thanks for your comment! RSUs are taxed as ordinary income when employee receives it. And yes, if the stock price increases & is sold, then the gain is subject to capital gains tax. The question is whether it's smart to hold on to the stock after vesting or not.
