I just want to share this interesting information about Kpop gen timeline in each of different gen
Let's started with the first idol group in kpop history :
Gen 1 : H.O.T - debut on 1996 (SM Entertainment) Gap to the next gen - 8 years
Gen 2 : TVXQ - debut on December, 2003 (SM Entertainment) Gap with previous gen - 8 years
Gen 3 : EXO - debut on April, 2012 (SM Entertainment) Gap with previous gen - 8 years
Okay, right now everthing started to get unclear from gen 4 after some of the people say that Gen 4 started from 2018, but if we look back and follow the 8 years gap, well it should started from 2020..
But let's agree with 2018 beacuse a lot of people insistedly saying that Gen 4 started on 2018, the gap would be 6 years.
Ok let's say gen 4 started at 2018
Gen 4 : G-idle debut on May, 2018 (Cube Entertainment) Gap with previous gen - 6 years
And then, suddenly
Mnet give their statement that their new idol group would start gen 5 which mean they would debut this year 2023😅
The gap would be 5 years...
(I'm sorry it might be to much to accept)
Because if a lot of company used this trick just to conquer some gen it would get more messed up at the end of the day.. There's no doubt that some company that would give their statement that their new idol group would start the Gen 6 at 2026 (4 years gap), Gen 7 started at 2028 (2 years gap), and at the of the end gen 8 at 2029 (1 years gap) which is sound really ridiculous to me😅
I'm sorry if we have different opinion about it, but we can't let this timeline for each gen get more messed up in the future..
I kind of expected baby monsters to be here but i am in more shock because 4th gen ended so quickly 💀and meanwhile i am here obsessed with 3red gen
