Happy fruitful year,I'm beyond excited! In just one week I'll be debt-free, having paid off my entire $285,000 debt and begun a new chapter of financial freedom.
I know that woman (Elizabeth Ann Hanson) If you were born and raised in new York you'd know too, she's my family's Broker for 3yrs till now and a very good one if you asked me. No doubt she is the one that helped you get where you are!!!!
Ali, I absolutely love your book club videos, especially the ones about finance! They’re always so insightful and packed with value. Your recommendations never disappoint-keep them coming!
My dad used to clown on me for wanting to make games. He told me I’d just be a “code monkey sitting at a desk”… at 35, I finally started diving into learning coding and it’s been the most engaging career-year so far. I’m so excited to keep on this path and wish I’d just listened to myself sooner on this. It’s brought so many fun automations to how my company functions, as well as making my day-to-day life feel genuinely productive and meaningful
Glad you decided to make the video. Don't need actionable steps for it be valuable. My life changed for the better when I stopped pursuing what others chased for money and focused on what interested me. This principle applies to relationships too not only work and money. What you focus on compounds - the good and the bad. Our time and energy are finite resources but I can always make more money as long as I have time. Focusing on that which matters most to me is a more effective use of the time and energy that I have available because I'm more effective, efficient, and knowledgable, which gives me leverage. The alternative of following what others were chasing for money just made me miserable feeling like I was useless and lacked purpose. I live a much happier more intentional life setting my own direction even if it doesn't look or sound rich. Love from Australia ❤
Read the book before and found it very enlightening. But hearing your perspective and how you build on these ideas is very helpful. Helped me grasp these concepts much better
Ali you don't know about the positive effect that you have on individuals. You are super helpful, one of the best mentors out there even tho I never talked to you personally. I have made positive personal decisions cause of your content. Thanks Man!
It's interesting - I read your book at the end of last year and Naval's book at the beginning of this year. Both are amazing, and what he says resonates deeply with me.
For me it is "Prosperity Unleashed: Mastering Path To Freedom" at Mind-bloomery. I love how author ends with the point that everything is about our mindset, and that true currencies are free time and joy. Money is just the tool to amplify those. And the beginning is really intense, talking about today's consumerism and how the race to wear better clothes, to have better accessories, etc., is pointless. Because if you chase those things just to show off with others, nobody will notice it because everyone is in that race. Pretty much race with no finish line.
Reading really does open doors to success. One book that made a huge difference for me is The Secret Doctrine of Wealth. It’s not just about reading-it’s about reading the right things.
Read this in mid 2024 and it was one of the best books i’ve ever read that talks about the most important parts of our lives. I would highly recommend anyone at any point in their life to grab a copy of this.
As someone who has read at least 15 of the books you've recommended here, I always appreciate these videos and find them so valuable. The point from the book about putting in the time and not counting...that really resonated. I needed to hear it. So happy to have another great book to add to my 2025 list. Thanks!
It kills me because I've been watching Ali for years now and the videos where he says he thinks "people will not find them useful" are the videos I find the most useful lol
For me the area of interest, is programming feels playing when I do. I really loss track of the time when I do coding. The thing my friends/coworkers ask my advice is when they feel down and need someone they want to talk to someone and make them feel better and advise them. I enjoy sitting with people and listen to them and help motivating them to overcome what they are going through. I am not sure. I am thinking to create youtube channel but due to cultural stuff, I cannot put video of me online. I am thinking about creating faceless channel, but I think it will be boring for people. So, it will always be just an idea in mind :(
There are many very successful faceless TH-cam channels! You never know what will be boring to people, there is likely a specific target audience that you could appeal to. You should go for it!
Naval's father is a pharmacist. That is, Naval grew up in an environment where education was not only valued and part of the family's fabric, but also taught him HOW to study. Same for Ali. Medical doctor parents and all their friends were also medical doctors. What did Ali do? Medicine. Had Naval or Ali not been born in those specific environments, guess what? They'd be among those millions of Indians and Pakistanis aimlessly roaming the streets of India and Pakistan.
Building wealth requires disciplined habits, such as consistently setting aside funds for reliable investments. Effective financial management is a critical topic that many avoid, often to their detriment down the line. Earning money is one thing-preserving and growing it is another.
Investors should carefully manage their exposure and be cautious with new acquisitions, particularly during periods of inflation. Achieving high yields in a recession is often only feasible under the guidance of a professional or a trusted advisor.
After the 2008 financial crisis, I learned not to place my full trust in corporations. Since 2020, I've been investing with a financial advisor, and I've avoided any major losses. As a result, I'm no longer relying solely on banks for my financial strategy.
Rebecca Lynne Buie has consistently been my top recommendation. She’s widely recognized for her expertise in financial markets and has a strong track record. I highly recommend her.
Thank you for sharing! I actually looked up Rebecca Lynne Buie online and was glad to find her. My goal is to retire in five years, so I’m exploring all the right resources
What a mistiming Ali, Yesterday I bought literally 21 books from the market, and all that time while I was roaming around this book was crossing my mind over and over....................... but I just didn't end up buying it thinking about my tight budget..... I came back home, later on I opened youtube, and your video pops up. Now I regret not buying this. I went broke and the market is almost 40km away. xD
Thanks for the forecast! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (mistake turkey blossom warfare blade until bachelor fall squeeze today flee guitar). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Hey Ali, with no.4 leverage. What could I do? Im not particulary interested in coding. Im gonna try web development this summer, i made a one page website without code and found it kind of interesting to be honest. But I prefer to spend a lot of my time outside in nature. And with no.1 specific knowledge, i find my venn diagram would be a mix of faith, nature, productivity, flying, adventuring, astronomy, chivalry and animation. I have absolutely what could come in the middle to build my own business with my own personal brand and unique value. Any thoughts? Got a lot of value out of this video, thanks bro

Am a born Christian and sometimes I feel so down 😭 of myself because of low finance but I still believe God
Elizabeth Ann Hanson's doing she's changed my life. A BROKER- like her is what you need.
Lovely! I enjoyed it like I enjoy a $100k monthly around the turn!!!

The Almanack of Naval Ravikant is a gem. I have read this book twice and found it to be full of mind-blowing insights.
Ali you don't know about the positive effect that you have on individuals. You are super helpful, one of the best mentors out there even tho I never talked to you personally. I have made positive personal decisions cause of your content. Thanks Man!
Thanks for a pleasant music in the background and relaxing atmosphere in general - of course in addition to valuable knowledge 😊

Book club is my favorite part of your channel!

God bless you bro

Omg, i just finished this book 2 days ago. It was fantastic.
Read this in mid 2024 and it was one of the best books i’ve ever read that talks about the most important parts of our lives. I would highly recommend anyone at any point in their life to grab a copy of this.
This book is by far the most applicable book there is.
Every page is like IRL gold.
3 things that worked for me:
1. I blocked out all distractions.
2. I read books on Nixorus.
3. I stayed consistent no matter what.
I'm currently reading it , and it is actually amazing.
I read this book 6months back and it’s an amazing book! Listen it’s audible version 😊!
As someone who has read at least 15 of the books you've recommended here, I always appreciate these videos and find them so valuable. Great lessons. I wonder if it’s too late for me! 58. I dearly wish TH-cam was around to make ideas accessible years ago.

Can you do a video about finances with a software engineer?
It's a great book. I've already screen shot so many pages.
Can you expand on how playing games, makes you good at game theory?

Bloody hell, his video quality
The video is better than the book ❤
Good video make on feel good productivity
it's kinda crazy how nobody's talking about the banned book called The Rothschild Vault
But how do we know any of these things actually work for a general audience and that the examples here aren’t just examples of survivorship bias?

Your videos are kind of boring but so useful that's why you have a lot of subscribers but people avoid watching your videos .
Oh really
