Halo 4 plasma sounds were better. No idea why they went with that downgrade in Halo 5. Thought we were past the "pew pew" era of energy weapons in science fiction.

@@Martian_1336 Nah. Aside from the weird cricket BR, Halo 4 sounds in general are top notch. Especially the plasma because it sounds like they actually sat down and thought about what a plasma weapon would sound like instead of "ray gun go pew pew"
I get turned on when I hear the Halo 4 shotgun, railgun, SAW, and machine gun turret. They sound realistic and meaty but also distinct.
