As an artist that owns both Color Cubes.......I'm so happy to see people using it for things other than art! using the color box for outfit planning is SO smart. I also found out I’m a summer when I lean towards autumns and all I wear is shades of periwinkle bc idk how to put any other colors together 😭😭😭 super fun video as always and thanks for the inspo Mia!
You can still wear warm-toned clothes as a summer! Just go based off other seasonal palette factors! For example I’m a muted summer, so I’ll look best in cool-toned, muted/dull colors. However, I’ll also look good in winter clothes (high contrast cool toned) and muted warm toned (fuller and toned down colors)! Obviously wearing warm-toned even when muted still won’t look as good, but if you really like warm toned there are still ways to make them suit you better!
Leaving a comment about the bit at the end where you talked about your background not making you “pop” - as an autistic individual your videos are always very watchable and not sensory overwhelming because the backgrounds are softer and less contrast & your editing style is very calm.
A lot of content nowadays is pressed for big reaction factor values, but I really enjoy how peaceful yet entertaining your videos are. Definitely a safe space for me in that regards!!

I've been making Josh's cookies for years, they are my go-to cookie recipe. The longer you chill them, the nicer they turn out. Those are genuinly the best cookies ever. Try them again and maybe put less of them on a baking sheet. They need space.
I was thinking it might be better to keep them in the refrigerator overnight, that might be the difference. Because it sounded like the recipe requires you, to keep them in the refrigerator longer.
Yeah, chilling overnight in the fridge allows the flour to fully hydrate. But also, it looked like she wasn't measuring the flour correctly and may not have had enough flour? Dunno, might have just been the edit. That being said, I hate baking recipes that don't give weight measurements in grams for ingredients, it's the only way to get consistent results!

@@laurenrobinson4034 Doesn't seem like she fills them up or levels them. Honestly, a lot of casual bakers have no idea how to get semi-consistent measurements with cups, etc., so I don't blame her. But this is also why weighing ingredients is great. Weissman provides weights in the recipe, FWIW (I don't get recipes that don't). Even then, though, you can also have different results based on humidity, altitude, quality of ingredients, etc., so making a recipe multiple times and tweaking it to your specific conditions and the ingredients you have available is important.

Loved the Color Cube section! In fact would love a whole video dedicated to it starring you and Mama Maples. Would be so fun to pick a handfull of color cards and go thrifting to pick outfits. Would also be fun to send snapshots of the cards to others and have them make an outfit (thrifted or from closet).
The cube is genius! I've always struggled with picking color combinations with outfits and art, so I'm so glad Mia reviewed this.

Baking advice from an old, good witch : There is a little sciencey magic that occurs with the mix of some of the ingredients in baking.Therefore exact measurement will produce a finer outcome. Filling and leveling cups o' and tsp's o' the what have you and what nots of ingredients is the real tea Mary !!!🥰. Love you and your channel wildly ❤

I've been drooling over the color cube for watercolor painting, but that was a fun and unique way to use it.
I love the color cube! Not only is it great for creating artwork, but I love it for designing rooms. I have never used it for outfits though. I will definitely have to try that. All the outfits Mia did looked great.
I really love these review videos and the ones where you take us shopping with you for whatever but my favorites will always be the renovation videos!

Mia is way too nice to Prime. That stuff is undrinkable syrup. And looking at Logan’s track record, he couldn’t care less about the well being of the kids following him.
I mean, she actually liked the drink so I think she was just stating her opinion. I can't believe she liked it though because I love sugary drinks but I felt like my teeth were going to rot as soon as one drop touched my tounge.
Also I really don't think kids drinking the prime is Logan's fault. The parents should be more careful of what their child drinks. Who doesn't check that?
I tried it thinking i would hate it too and I definitely don't want to support them, but I actually enjoyed the energy drink ones but only one of the flavours. The sports drink in one of the flavours was okay but only in small amounts lol like I wouldn't drink the whole thing in one go.
They are definitely overly sweet.
Prime is not my favorite. Just as a PSA He is supposed to become a father this year..
@@squeakSquak yeah I attempted to drink two of those and I couldn't go past 2-5 sips. Had to pour it down the drain, because it was just too sweet and honestly tasted horribly. I am kinda questioning her honesty on that one...

The chaotic baking is wonderful! It was because you didn’t chill the dough is why they flattened like that.

I think it’s because the recipe called for 1 AND 1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp of flour. She did one 1/4 cup and 1 tbsp. She was missing a whole cup of flour lol. But also put the 1/4 into a full cup for fun I guess 😂
@@EliTasrevno she left it in the fridge for 30 minutes, so it probably wasn’t at the proper temp to do what it was supposed to do when exposed to the heat
