NIce Video. I am going to the resort in March 2020. Few questions. Are there any drone flying laws in Costa Rica because I am going to bring mine? Were there any fish to look at snorkeling off their beach? Are there any coral reefs off their beach? Thanks.
Yes I would, I like this hotel because it's quiet, we loved sitting on the beach relaxing, never sat at the pool, we always flew into San Jose and drove inland first before going to the beach, we've stayed at Arenal Kioro, Rio Celeste Hideaway and Rio Perdido before heading to the Occidental, we love driving thru Costa Rica.

The beach looked rocky, or lots of shells is it comfortable to walk with no shoes?
It's not that bad, we've never worn water shoes in the water.
