Would be logical if these were made archeological sites, but that would disrupt the prevailing narrative.

you know, I remember reading a few times about the decay of granite, and how long it takes to start falling apart. Decomposing Granite is the term. That first dolmen had that that chunk of rock that had super recently fallen off tells a lot about how long that rock has been sitting there. I would love to have been on this one too. clear brush and get a good under the layer of dirt that has collected on them. but ya, that is a serious site you are at. I've always felt that Nova Scotia is a place full of surprises , by the fact that a lot of civilization would have landed there or embarked from there . but great job on going to this .

@@henryknox4511in most cases it is going to be a developer or land owner who has to hire an archeologist. So most sites like this are effectively “hidden” by the land owner, not by a coordinated effort to keep these findings out of the public eye.
The government doesn’t hire archaeologists to investigate an area unless there is a specific reason, usually something being built or destroyed.
I am sure we will be able to share data sets in a much easier way in the near future. LiDAR scans and photogrammetry have come a long way in the last 20 years, in terms of cost and tech becoming available to the public.
I am excited to see what is found by nerds with drones and dorks with maps and boots…

After getting past the black flies, gnats, deer flies, moose flies and mosquitoes, you then took on the serious risk of long term, immune deficiency illness due to tick bites! Wow!!!

I'll say this : this looks like things put on top of other things,(in this case, rocks), and only people do that. Why would a Medieval man visiting these shores long ago, have constructed such a large marker, as the Dolmen above. Why not just pile small stones up to make a marker? Making this dolmen was not easy for ordinary humans like ourselves, much less the mostly buried wall structure. Also, let's not forget the corner-piece fragment you found there, really indicative of human work. I'll certainly be tuning in.

Awesome gentlemen! I saw what you saw ; ) and nothing needs to be said. This is where you are becoming extremely important to us all by way of ducking the trolls & avoiding the backwash. It's a complete waste of time. More than likely planned. The ONLY important thing is to document & allow the Supermen like Graham to do what those guys do best . . . The TRUTH WARRIORS. Everybody seems to believe that they have all the answers when in actuality . . . they don't even comprehend the question. You guys are unbelievably awesome! Thanks so much - One last note Brother, IF there was an extremely rapid warming (which Randal speaks about) then the whole of North America as well as other locations were instantaneously hit by a massive cataclysmic flood which would have BOTH destroyed anything standing & buried it under silt & debris way before all the plants returned like in the Yucatan. If you get an overview of the scablands up in Washington/Oregon its obvious what happened in Africa. We go back a long, long, long way. Either that or . . . . . . . .

You're just looking at the tip of the iceberg, there's far more there that has been lost to time. It's important that you understand the history of the Americas. There're structures from the time before the meteor created the Gulf of Mexico and some older still. The tribes in their current locations aren't the original tribes of those locations, the sites have been reinhabited over and over again after catastrophic events occurred. Stay curious my friend, but be careful somethings have been buried for a reason.

The claims are usually that as glaciers melted, the stones that were in the glaciers melted and deposited them sometimes with small stones underneath large ones. If these things were man made, a crane or excavator could lift the stone and objects could be looked for underneath and the dirt could be checked for ancient DNA to see if anything interesting pops up. When the stone's been weathered it's hard to tell after thousands of years if it was cut stone or not.

So Scottish migration after the Acadian expulsion took place all over Nova Scotia, walk into the deep woods miles from anywhere and you will find rock walls they built them everywhere . Where did they get the rocks from the ground. Almost 100% of the forests in Nova Scotia were harvested over the last 150 years as well. These are interesting just not ancient, and the big rocks on little ones are very common, there are even a series of rocks mounted on metal rods along the Atlantic coast, they as well are a mystery just not an ancient one. Nice walk in the woods though.

Balanced on 3 points is NOT typical of dolmens. Dolmens are the megalithic frames of rooms and hallways in man made hills.
A dolmen is megalithic framework that a hill would be stacked on top off. It's what left if the hilll has eroded away. There needs to be actual walk space under the roof stones to be a dolmen.
The small stones they are placed on, thats not with the intent to create rooms and hallways.
Not saying this cant be human activity, just saying it's not a dolmen structure.
Most of these megalithic sites you show feel like proto-megalithic. So sites where semi-nomadic seasonals tribes would have downtime and "play with rocks". Lessons learned there would be used to build things by later generations.

Hey I'm sorry to bug so much haha, but wouldn't that area have been covered in super large trees before whitey showed up and chopped them all down. so if that's the case, there is some survey/plat and maybe even photos of the clearing. those trees are only a few years old. 10 max maybe.

    • @WanderingWolf
      @WanderingWolf  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Never a bother! I’m really liking your ideas about getting old surveys…have you looked into any areas to do that with yet?

@@WanderingWolf I got an idea. maybe start a "job board" for the fans/lovers/dedicated to the cause warriors, to do grunt work , like research plats/surveys etc. So give me us some locations to start searching online , before going to the halls of records , same with the local libraries to find old local books about the area. When I was a kid in CA, I would read every book I could get my hands on about that kind of stuff. There is tons of info out there, we just gotta find it. Sadly , I remember a lot of libraries literally dumping insane amount of these kinds of books in purges . We , The wolf pack, need some targets. I was going to set all this up for myself, but I'm too busy making vids for everyone else, so you are the perfect dude to take it and run. you got the wild fire behind you. fan the fire.

I gotta say something that maybe no one wants to hear, but those "dolmens" look like the little rocks put there very recently, like used to mark some sort of boarder/boundry . but the site is legit on every level. Maybe some Indians wanted to mark the spot as sacred or something , but they look out of place next to the rest. or I'm totally full of shit hahah. the ticks part sucks bro .

No sure your use of the term 'dolman' applies here - a rock wedged under a bolder is a stretch. Understanding the bush you are exploring is overgrown and dense, it made your camera work ineffective. If there are well defined patterns of a structure do a survey .... you know the picture and the thousand words. Thanks for the effort and enthusiasm.
