When I first heard the song I wasn't really in love with it. I went to the Spirit concert I completely fell in love with it. There's just something magical about this song. They just announced they are working on new music so I'm pretty sure a concert is coming 👀
One of the best moments of the Spirit show ( I went to the one in Edmonton.. hopefully not the last time I will be seeing them). And while I am not in love with most DM songs post 2005, Cover me is one song I will play on repeat. The atmospheric vibe is classic DM.

It‘s a great song that grows with every listen. Wonderful studio version, too. Shows how Dave has grown as a songwriter in his own right next to Martin. Another great performance of Dave, vocally very impressive, is Depeche Mode‘s cover of Bowie‘s Heroes (Highline Sessions). That would definitely be worth a reaction, too.
