"Black is so much deeper than just African American" - this is so deep when you realise that's the history thats pushed onto every nation. Even in the UK we learn more about African American historic figures than any British figures of which there were many. That went over some peoples heads though
The question we need to be asking is why are the black gr8s African American..Caribbean or African..and not UK based African/blacks? If America is the "belly if the beast" ..uk is the brain. Its not by accident that we struggle to produce the same liberationists that the U.S, Africa and the Caribbean has. So its not abt being jealous of their struggle its about learn from them and applying it to where we live.
i'd say im a pretty big grime and uk rap fan, but pls dont pretend the UK scene is better rn when we literally have shit like aitch rn and they have Kendrick
Kiki Kannibal lol we can agree that US and Uk have trash hip hop related artists. But America will always have a higher standard for rap. It was born there and that’s where the best rappers ever are from (mostly New York)
MrShrimpy I acc feel bad for going in on Aitch so hard he’s acc decent but he’s not for me. But who I am gonna compare to ‘mumble rappers’ (not a real genre btw) is jay1 Who has worse music than a very large portion of trap artists in the US
I've only started listening to Dave recently but I have to say, love both Devlin and Dave. They're different, that's all. Come to think of it, that would make a great Compilation.
I'm so glad you guys did this one! Dave is absolutely killing it ATM and this song was absolute poetry & so uplifting! I respect Dave for still bringing a message especially now that he's signed cos he's staying true to himself & that's what we need more of instead of just rap about money drug & women all the time imo! Xxx
Thank you so much for listening all the way through instead of talking over him! You should listen to this live at the Brits, it has a few more verses. Brilliant.
I can't speak on the black community I'm white but I'm not ignorant and I felt that. He was speaking on the past present and future of the black community so raise him up. I love Dave man.
Welcome back Male time. Finally reacting to real hip hop. You been sleeping on the UK seen. Some bangers for you to react to. Stormzy "vossi bop" Mist " can't stop clocks"
There was a lot of disgruntled people when this track got released over here in the UK including those that claim to be into the UK black music culture.
For knowledge & history, as others have said, 'Akala - Fire in the booth 1-4', particularly pt4. Serious. His 1sr rap is astonishing enough, the 2nd part, mind blowing. He also teaches, his lecture at the Oxford Union 'Akala | Full Address and Q&A | Oxford Union' which is on youtube covers the lost pages of African history. I learned more about African history in the hour, than years in school.
I think you would love his whole album Pyscodrama. Also react to Cadet - Stereotypes unfortunately this lovely young man has passed but he was brilliant I think you would enjoy his talent
This is excellent and an important record by Dave. On a similar theme, another one you will love is Black Rose by Ghetts feat Kojey Radical. You loved Ghetts’ Daily Duppy; I promise you, this is not to be missed. Something very different from him but equally powerful. Black Rose has just been nominated for an Ivor Novello award - the UK music industry’s most prestigious songwriting awards. This is such achievement and so well deserved. It was my song of the year 🔥🔥🔥
Finally back with the UK reactions. jafro - sbtv warm up sessions. This guy is so talented, flows bars and melody. One to watch out for #JAFRO#BLACKPANTHERBARZ
Younger guy on the left looks like the guy who does videos on the PassportHeavy channel! Swear down bro that is your dopple ganger or perhaps your long lost brother!!
Would you agree that mumble rappers are a reflection of their education, therefore if school teachers are the ones that taught them then they really shouldn't be paid more. It is not enough to say do your research because it may sound dumb but think how does one go about researching their history when their very moment is important to them surviving or they will be history. So we have to look zt the basics.
Hey guys love your reactions can you guys react to nathan bautista song was dont stop belivin on the blind audtions philippines and mica queen of the night
Yo nice reaction guys please react to mic righteous lowkey or akala fire in the booth! That was one fool and had nothing to do with the community. People always knew black on black crime is bad no one loves it do not get it twisted ... Plus to add Nipsey would of been in trouble in amerikkka period we just need to realize security is the important. Lastly teachers with African centered Education not whitewash education ... We been smart before amerikkka but never stop domination and violence .. another lesson in Security

K and even deeper, you never get to learn about the kings and queens africa had, you only hear that slaves came from there
@@xDraGNationNL Rosa Parks and MLK is what he means, we learn about large African American figures
That was inspirational

@@gregnuttall7421 bro you can't compare aitch to mumble rappers. He actually has a great pen and his lyrics are usually really slick.
@Greg Nuttal Americans also have Tekashi 6ix9ine. What's your point?

He has one of the best albums of the year. Check physcodrama
Devlin's is better in my opinion, and Iv heard them both but Devlin's I've listened to 3 or 4 times now whereas Dave's got a bit much for me.
@@chrissyboi88b I see what your saying but devlin doesn't do it for me. His flow seems to be a bit one dimensional.
I've only started listening to Dave recently but I have to say, love both Devlin and Dave. They're different, that's all. Come to think of it, that would make a great Compilation.
