Thank you for your very informative videos. One point worth considering is text height...it is generally recommended not to have dimension text less than 2.5mm. Remember these are working drawings and the dimensions must be clearly legible even when they do get a bit dirty on site. Clear and legible is the key. A tip from a draughtsman that has been doing this for forty years plus.

DIMENSION SETUP: Very interesting. I am using feet/inches and have problems with strings of dimensions not adding up with the overall total length...AND GUESS WHAT??? - this video has similar issue. If you add up the string of dimensions in your example, you do not get the same number as the overall length.
What I did learn here however (and you did not discuss it) was where the tolerance for dimensions is editable EDIT>>UNITS FORMAT>>ROUNDING. i changed my tolerance to 1/8" instead of 1/32" and the odd dimensions cleaned up.

After we make the changes for this one project... Do I have to do it again for my next project? Is there a way to copy this "new" dimension into a template so that it is the default dimension style?

Hello Balkan, is there any solution to convert dimension line continues to doted ( when we take exterior to exterior wall dimension). I tried so many times but we can change only when we put the dimension center to center but during face to face it isn't possible. Please suggest if any solution you know.Thanku!!

A web developer store a style in a CSS file, when a client want to see it in a different way (black/white/color) it his choice. I hope in the future Autodesk Forge while get a open to build a CSS file, so all the discussions (endless talking over how the line needs to be) over how to see it on your screen will be over. But engineers think too much in white paper!
