Met a young man, 22, who came to my home to do roof work. I was so impressed with him. We had a wonderful conversation, at which point I realized how mature, polite, and wise beyond his years he was. He took a few minutes to engage a 70 yr old woman in meaningful, deep conversation. When he walked out the door, I told him his mother raised him well. His response: "I was raised in foster care. I lucked out." Blessed be all the women and men who take in children not their own, who raise and love them into successful adulthood. ❤🙏❤

Great to watch this. Had the good fortune to meet this young man for a few minutes at the MLK center in Atlanta, some months back. He was introduced to us as an Olympic silver medallist. When given his name, I said "oh you ran 19.61", and he very modestly corrected me to the slower time "no 19.68" (at Tokyo). Spoke for a few minutes to a very unassuming, nice, young man. Didn't get to tell him that my favorite all-time track person is Tommie Smith - perhaps the GOAT in the men's 200m as well as the 400m. All the best in Paris and beyond.
Always been a fan of Kenny, and more so now. Super talented, humble, but also a person of his own without the bragging.

I actually met and talked to Kenny in the Eugene airport after Prefontaine, and I couldn't have met a nicer and classier guy. Ever since then, Kenny is my #1 favorite sprinter. Go get that gold! You're the best role model in the sport, in my opinion!

Kenny, when I firs saw you in Tokyo, I was like: "Bednarek? Wow, he must be Polish... Lol". Recently I saw you doing great in Eugene and was so excited, thinking to myself "Omg, we might have an olympic medal for Poland! Oh, but he is American, representing the USA... Yeah, sure, and Armand Duplantis is representing Sweden. I just want this guy to win, like any other Polish athlete." Now I've watched this video and I feel so moved... As a strugling mother of two teenage girls and an autistic 8yo boy. Not sure if my final results would be good enough... I' m full of respect for your Mom and you. Amazing people, who did a great job. I will just keep my fingers crossed for you to excell in Paris. 🥇🥇

Not sure if I should share this ...but I'm being urged to. This video came up randomly. I do follow running/Olympics etc but I've recently had concerns about young black men I've seen with white families in Walmart. Felt they looked sad and trapped and I became concerned for their welfare. I was told there was a recent story of a WV couple who fostered black children and used them as slaves putting them in shed etc. This has weighed on my mind these past few days and trying to figure out how we can protect these children in foster care etc especially in cases where race may be an added issue...and then i see this BEAUTFUL story and realize that there are good people with good intentions out there and so we can never paint a picture with one color. Well, there should always be a concern for any child but to be honest, people who abuse children abuse children regardless of race and statistically Kenny was much safer with this woman then growing up with a single mom in his own community. A few weeks ago there was a story about 450- 500 truck drivers who are being investigated because of ties to serial killings and missing people all over the country by the FBI, roughly 1000 plus victims. These incidents are connected to white slavery, sex dungeons, torture, rape and death similar to Sade Robinson's killer Maxwell Anderson who was not a truck driver but still fit the FBI profile of these type predators. This might explain all those missing young black girls that people talk about and if so that along with the unaccountability by the black community would be a much bigger issue than the adoption of black boys by white mothers. The concern for children is paramount but the bigger concern is how the majority of black boys are being treated by their own irresponsible parent who never wanted them in the first place or regret the biological sex partner because father material was not a priority at the club.

The vast majority of interrail adoption have normal family life. Yes, you do have the Kapernicks' who have been gaslighted by the haters and race hustlers, but most adoptees are grateful for the stability and love.
