THis is horse cruelty hidden behind pretty scenery. It is not only the jumps that are insane it is the behind the scenes on every day life at the barn that is also a horror show in many of the high end barns. No one but the high end barns can afford to do this kind of event. They are only concerned about the MONEY AND PRESTIGE !!!!! THese events need to be made more reasonable or stop them all together. Of course the BIG MONEY owners will never allow that. Their concern is not for the horses well being but how much the horse can win and to hell with everything else. You people are active in animal cruelty and you know who you are!!!!! YOu should all be fined for cruelty to animals just like other abusers of animals. I have owned and ridden horses for 45 years and I have seen all that goes on behind the scenes of all the upper level shows and events!!! YOu know who you are and you should be ashamed of yourself for how you treat these beautiful animals. HOrse people all over the world are not stupid and they understand and see what is happening.

If we wanted decent equine sport coverage, we should have been born in Germany. Most other nations' media has thus far chosen to be uniformly subpar.
This has to be the most hair raising equestrian sport. I admire the horses and riders. It must go so hard on both. It makes it painful to watch.
Really like the commentator’s knowledge, but wish there were a way to follow the names and countries and horses that we are watching.

my family and i went to the 2024 Rolex in Lexington and this one in 2023 was the exact same but just a different course and a couple different jumps.

I'm so excited to start jumping! But, how do you all memorize these courses?
Practice mostly, for showjumping I recommend printing out the course and going over it every night/ at least once a day!
